중등단계 직업교육 전문교과 교사 관련 변인별 컴퓨팅 사고력 구성 요소의 교육 필요도 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 중등단계 직업교육의 전문교과 교사를 대상으로 학생을 가르치기 위해 요구되는 컴퓨팅 사고력의 구성 요소의 교육 필요도를 관련 변인별로 분석하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었다. 이를 위하여 중등단계 직업교육 전문교과 교사 477명을 대상으로 설문 조사를 실시하여 379명(79.45%)의 설문 응답지를 분석하였다. 자료 분석은 SPSS 18.0 프로그램을 활용하여 기술 통계, 일원배치 분산분석(ANOVA)의 F검정을 실시하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 일반 교육 경력에 따라 중등단계 직업교육의 전문교과 교사의 컴퓨팅 사고력에 대한 교육 필요도의 평균값을 비교해 보면, 20년 이상의 교육 경력을 가진 교사의 평균값이 가장 낮았으나 집단 간 통계적으로 유의미한 차이는 없었다. 또한 중등단계 직업교육에서 컴퓨터-수단 교과 또는 컴퓨터-목적 교과를 담당하고 있는 교사 집단간 교육 경력에 따라 컴퓨팅 사고력의 교육 필요도를 비교 분석한 결과, 컴퓨터 관련 교과를 담당한 교육 경력이 없는 교사들의 평균값이 낮았다. 둘째, 컴퓨팅 사고력에 대한 교육이『보통 과목』에 반영되어야 한다고 인식한 전문교과 교사의 경우, 컴퓨팅 사고력의 구성 요소에 대한 교육 필요도가 다른 집단보다 통계적으로 유의미하게 높았다. 또한, 컴퓨팅 사고력에 대한 교육을 중등단계 직업교육의 어느 영역에서 실시되어야 하는지에 대한 전문교과 교사의 인식을 분석한 결과, 응답한 교사의 50.39%는 컴퓨팅 사고력 관련 내용이 중등단계 직업교육의 『공통 과목』에 반영되어 국가수준의 교육과정으로 편성하여 학과 및 전공과 관계없이 모든 학생이 이수할 수 있어야 한다고 인식하고 있었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze the needs of computational thinking required to teach students in specialized subjects in secondary vocational education by related variables. To this end, a questionnaire survey was conducted on 477 teachers of secondary vocational education specializing in vocational education, considering the region, and a questionnaire of 379 (79.45%) were analyzed. For data analysis, descriptive statistical analysis and F-test of one-way analysis of variance (ANOVA) were performed using the SPSS 18.0 program. The results of this study were as follows. First, the average value of the needs for computational thinking of teachers in secondary vocational education according to their general education experience, the mean of teachers with more than 20 years of education experience was the lowest, but there were no statistically significant differences between groups. In addition, in the case of the needs of the components of computational thinking, the mean of teachers without educational experience in computer-means subjects or computer-purpose subjects was low. Second, in the case of the perceptions of teachers in specialized subjects who recognized that education on computational thinking should be taught in “General subjects”, the need for education on the components of computational thinking skills was statistically significantly higher than that of other groups. As a result of analyzing the perceptions of teachers in specialized subjects on which areas of secondary vocational education should be conducted for computational thinking, 50.39% of the responding teachers recognized that computational thinking should be taught in “Common subject” in secondary vocational education.
