초등돌봄교실 운영에 대한 업무 담당자의 인식 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 초등학교 돌봄교실의 운영 방식과 업무 담당자의 인식을 조사하였다. 3개 초등학교의 돌봄교실 업무 담당 교사와 돌봄 전담사를 면담하였다. 연구결과, 단순 돌봄만을 제공하는 아침 및 저녁 돌봄교실에 비해 오후 돌봄교실에서 다양한 프로그램이 운영되고 있었고, 참여도 많았다. 저녁 돌봄은 수요는 있으나 저녁 식사 제공 문제로 참여자가 적다는 특징이 있었다. 2015년부터 도입된 방과후 연계형 돌봄교실은 3,4학년을 대상으로 운영되고 있었으며 단순 돌봄을 제공하고 전담사가 배치되지 않았다. 역할인식과 관련해서는 업무 담당자 모두 돌봄교실 업무가 과중함을 호소했으며 각자의 책임감으로 인해 업무를 수행하고 있었다. 방과후학교 일환으로 운영되고 있음에도 개인의 업무량은 방과후학교 업무보다 많은 것으로 나타났다. 이를 바탕으로 돌봄의 의미, 전담사의 자격, 돌봄교실이 제공하는 프로그램 범위 등이 명확하지 않다는 점이 개선점으로 논의되었다.

영문 초록

This study is a qualitative study regarding the actual status of elementary school care-room and recognition of the managers. Three elementary schools were selected in Seoul, and the teachers and the specialists in charge of care-room were interviewed. In result, while care-room provided just caring service in the morning, and the evening, it provided various programs in the afternoon so more people joined in the after noon rather then other times. There was a demand for care-room in the evening, but only a few people wanted the service since there was no dinner provided in the care-room. After-school care room system was introduced in 2015, it has been in service especially for 3,4th grade students. Only caring system is being provided, and there is no people fully in charge. All the people in charge said that there was too much work for care-room. They did their jobs under their own responsibility, and they dealt with much more work in care-room rather than when they normally work after-school. Based on these findings, it was discussed that the meaning of care, the qualifications of the specialist, and the specific scope of the program provided by the care-room.
