국문 초록

이 연구는 중국 초등학교 도예 교육프로그램을 이론적으로 체계화하고 중국의 교육정책에 따라 변화한 도예 교육의 특징과 문제점을 파악하여 한국 교육에 주는 시사점을 얻는 데 목적이 있다. 우선 중국 초등학교 도예 교육의 이론적 배경을 이해하기 위해 중국 교육부의 관련 정책에 따른 교육 변화 양상을 살펴보고, 현지 교사들이 기획한 프로젝트 보고서 및 국내외 논문을 활용하여 도예 교육 시스템과 교수 학습 모형 분류하기로 하였다. 연구 결과 현행 중국 초등학교 도예 과목은 교육부와 지방 교육청의 주도로 시작된 도예 특색 교육과 학교가 자율적으로 개발한 도예 교 육프로그램으로 나뉘었다. 또한, 사례로 제시한 학교들은 비슷한 교육 배경을 가지고 있으나 교육 목표, 방법, 시간, 내용 등의 차이를 확인할 수 있었다. 특히 도예 교육프로그램을 운영하는 중국 초등학교에서는 감상과 견학 등을 통해 도예에 흥미를 느낄 수 있도록 하고 전통문화와 예술을 응용하여 자긍심을 고취하였으며, 창의융합형 인재양성을 위해 다른 과목과 연계하는 등 다양한 노력을 하였다. 그러나, 초등 교육의 범주에서 도예 교육은 교육의 목적, 교사의 경험 부족, 전문 교과서와 교육 프로그램 등의 과제가 남아 있다. 따라서 한국 초등학교 도예 교육도 중국과 마찬가 지로 같은 문제를 어떻게 해결하고 있는지 자문에 볼 필요가 있겠다. 중국 초등학교 도예 교육의 현황과 당면 과제 등을 고찰한 이 논문이 해외 예술교육을 이해하는 초석이 되어 도예 교육 연구의 다양성 제공에 도움이 되길 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to find implications for Korean education by theoretically examining elementary school ceramics education in China and identifying problems and plans for improvement. First, to understand the theoretical background of ceramics programs in Chinese elementary schools, it was necessary to examine the educational changes made according to the guidelines and policies of the Ministry of Education and to classify the ceramics education system and teaching and learning models using project reports submitted by local teachers and domestic as well as foreign academic papers. Results show that the current elementary school ceramics subjects in China were divided into special ceramics education initiated by the Ministry of Education and local education offices and ceramics education programs independently developed by individual schools. In addition, although the schools under examination have similar educational goals, differences were identified in terms of educational backgrounds, methods, and content. In particular, Chinese elementary schools that run ceramics programs have made a variety of efforts, such as increasing students interest in ceramics through appreciation tours, enhancing self-esteem through the application of traditional culture and arts, and linking with other subjects to foster creative convergence talents. However, challenges in ceramics education in elementary schools such as a lack of specialized textbooks, a shortage of specialized teachers, and biased content remain. Elementary school ceramics education in Korea needs to reflect on the same issues as in China. It is hoped that this thesis, which examines the theoretical background and current status of elementary school ceramics education in China, will serve as a foundation for understanding overseas art education and help to provide diversity in ceramics education.
