국문 초록

이 연구는 교육과학기술부의 스마트교육 추진 정책(2011.6.29)에 따라 2015년까지 개발되어야 할 종교학 디지털교과서의 개발 방향을 제시하는 데 목적이 있다. 이 연구에서 제안하는 개발 방향은 크게 두 가지이다. 첫째는 종교학 디지털교과서의 교육적 효과를 높일 수 있는 창작 패러다임을 확립하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 제안하는 창작 패러다임은 ‘디지털 스토리텔링’이다. 디지털 스토리텔링은 패러다임으로서의 디지털과 창작 기술로서의 스토리텔링의 결합을 통해 디지털교과서의 교육적 효과와 기능을 극대화시킬 수 있는 방안이 될 수 있다. 둘째는 확립된 창작 패러다임에 따라 교과서 개발의 기본 방향을 설정하는 것이다. 이 연구에서 제시한 개발의 기본 방향은 기본 원칙, 내용구성/구조적 측면, 기능/기술적 측면, 교수⋅학습 측면에서 총 아홉 가지이다. 이 중 내용구성/구조, 기능/기술, 교수⋅학습 등의 세 측면은 상호영향을 주고받는 요소들이기 때문에 교과서 개발 시 종합적⋅통합적으로 고려되어야 한다. 이 세 측면을 통합시키는 기본 원칙은 1)학습자의 전인적 성장으로, 이는 교과서 개발의 첫 번째 방향이다. 이 방향은 다른 여덟 방향들의 원칙인 동시에 목적이기도 하다. 내용 구성 및 구조적 측면에는 네 가지 방향이 속한다. 2)앎의 단계적 확장 구현, 3)보편적 학습 설계, 4)참여－상호작용－협력－공유지식 창출이 가능한 열린 교과서 지향, 5)에듀테인먼트 [인터랙티브] 스토리텔링 콘텐츠 개발 및 확보가 그것들이다. 기능 및 기술적 측면에는 세 가지 방향이 속한다. 6)웹 2.0의 속성 적용, 7)사용하기에 용이하고 유용한 기능 제공, 8)학습자의 몰입(flow)과 동기유발을 방해하는 장애요소 제거 등이다. 마지막으로 교수⋅학습 측면의 방향으로는 9)종교학 디지털교과서에 효과적인 교수⋅학습 모형 개발이 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to suggest developmental directions for a ‘Religion’ digital textbook being developed for 2015, in accordance with the policy “SMART Education” of the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology of Korea, as published on June 29, 2011. I propose two developmental directions. Above all, I suggest establishing a creative paradigm that maximizes the educational effectiveness of a Religion digital textbook. This paradigm would one of digital storytelling. Digital storytelling is a good method that maximizes the educational effectiveness and functions of such a textbook by creatively combining a digital-based paradigm with storytelling-based technology. Next I suggest developmental directions for a Religion digital textbook based on such a creative paradigm that uses digital storytelling. I propose a total of nine developmental directions consisting of four dimensions: Basic Principle, Contents and Structure, Functions and Technology, and Teaching and Learning. When developing a digital textbook, the last three of these dimensions are considered in terms of synthesis and integration because they work in reciprocal ways. Above all the Basic Principle has to do with addressing the need for a digital textbook that focuses on the student’s growth as a whole person. This first direction is the underlying principle and purpose that support the other eight directions. The dimension of Contents and Structure includes the next four directions: direction 2) realizing phasing in an extension of knowledge; 3) providing a universal design for learning; 4) developing an open textbook that implements participation-interactivity-collaboration-creating a shared knowledge; and 5) developing edutainment [interactive] storytelling contents. The dimension of Functions and Technology consists of three directions: 6) applying the characteristics of Web 2.0; 7) offering useful and user-friendly functions; and 8) eliminating elements that hinder the flow and the motivation of students. The direction of the dimension of Teaching and Learning involves 9) developing an effective model for teaching and learning in a Religion digital textbook.
