장애인복지 종사자 대상 도전적 행동 지원교육의 효과성 연구 - 주간보호센터와 생활시설 종사자를 중심으로 -

국문 초록

본 연구는 장애인복지현장 종사자를 대상으로 도전적 행동 지원교육을 실시하고 그 효과성을 살펴보는데 목적이 있다. 도전적 행동 지원교육은 도전적 행동 개입에 대한 통합적인 내용을 바탕으로 강의, 실행하기, 사례발표, 피드백 교육 방식의 총 8회기가 진행되었고, 교육을 통한 종사자들의 도전적 행동에 대한 인식과 태도, 관계 및 지원행동, 정서적 감정반응의 변화를 살펴보았다. 교육에 참여한 실험집단과 유사한 특성의 통제집단을 구성하여 진행하였고, 비모수 통계방법을 통해 효과성을 검증하였다. 연구결과, 통제집단은 결과에 유의미한 차이를 보이지 않았지만 교육에 참여한 종사자들은 도전적 행동에 대한 인식 및 자신감, 이용자와의 관계 및 긍정적 지원, 도전적 행동에 대한 감정반응 및 소진에 유의미한 향상을 보였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 도전적 행동 지원교육의 필요성을 강조하였고, 추후 도전적 행동 지원을 위한 종사자 교육에 대한 실천방향을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to conduct training to manage challenging behaviour for disabled welfare staff and to examine the effectiveness. The total of 8 sessions of training to manage challenging behaviour were conducted based on integrated contents on challenging behavior intervention, including lectures, execution, case presentation, and feedback education methods. The changes in the perception and attitude of the challenging behavior, relationship and support behavior, and emotional response of the staff through education were examined. A control group with similar characteristics to the experimental group that participated in the training was formed and conducted, and the effectiveness was verified through a non-parametric statistical method. As a result of the study, the control group did not show any significant difference in the results, but the staffs who participated in the training showed significant improvements in recognition and confidence in challenging behavior, relationship with users and positive support, and emotional response and exhaustion to challenging behavior. Based on these results, the necessity of challenging behavior support tranning was emphasized, and the practical direction for trainning to support challenging behaviors was suggested in the future.
