국문 초록

본 연구는 일반 성인을 대상으로 이완 용이성의 특질 수준을 평가하는 이완 능력 척도를 개발하기 위한 목적으로 수행되었으며, 집중명상의 효과성을 측정할 수 있는 지표로써 이완 용이성을 제안한다. 연구 1에서 이완 용이성을 ‘사람들이 필요한 상황에서 자신의 몸과 마음을 쉽게 또는 빠르게 이완하는 능력‘으로 정의하였으며, 이를 바탕으로 이완 용이성을 신체적 차원과 심리적 차원의 2요인 구조로 가정하고 탐색적 요인분석을 실시하였다. 연구 결과, 예상한대로 이완 용이성은 2요인 구조가 적정한 것으로 나타났다. 연구 2에서는 확인적 요인분석 결과, 1요인과 2요인 모형 중 2요인이 더 적합한 모형으로 나타나 2요인 구조의 적절성을 확인하였다. 또한, 이완 용이성과 신체 자각, 긍정 정서, 삶의 만족의 상관이 정적으로 나타나 준거 타당도가 입증되었다. 아울러 본 연구에서 개발한 이완 능력 척도의 제한점 및 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

This study proposed the concept of relaxation ease for the purpose of developing a scale that can measure the relaxation effect of intensive meditation, and developed and validated the items to measure it. In Study 1, ease of relaxation was defined as the degree to which people feel it is easy to relax their body and mind even when their body and mind are tense or rigid. Assuming a two-factor structure, an exploratory factor analysis was performed. As a result of the study, as expected, a two-factor structure was found to be appropriate for the ease of relaxation scale. Also, as a result of correlation analysis with related variables, a positive correlation was found with relaxation state, positive emotion, and emotional regulation, and a negative correlation with anxiety and somatization was found, proving convergence and discriminatory validity. In Study 2, as a result of confirmatory factor analysis, two-factor models were more suitable among the one-factor and two-factor models, confirming the adequacy of the two-factor structure. In addition, the use of the ease of relaxation scale developed in this study and limitations of the study were discussed.
