교회건축의 장애인편의시설 실태분석 연구

국문 초록

2000년대 이후 교회의 성도들은 점차 고령화되고 있는 추세이나 기존의 교회 건축물은 건강한 비장애인을 중심으로 건축됨으로 인해 고령자나 장애인과 같은 시설이용약자를 위한 공간이나 편의시설이 부족한 실정이다. 본 연구는 고령자와 장애인을 포함한 시설 이용약자들이 교회시설을 이용함에 있어서 편의시설의 현황 파악을 통해 불편을 느끼는 요소를 파악함으로써 접근성에 장애가 되는 요소들을 도출하여 개선의 방향을 제시하고자 하였으며 결론은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 교회에 설치하도록 규정하는 편의시설의 범위에 대한 확대가 필요하다. 둘째, 주출입구접근로는 보행자의 안전을 우선 고려하도록 계획되어야 한다. 셋째, 가장 낮은 적정설치율로 조사된 주출입구높이차이제거항목은 우선적으로 개선이 요구된다.

영문 초록

As the elderly population grows and the social integration paradigm of the disabled expands, social interest in the disabled architectural environment is increasing. Existing church buildings are based on healthy people, and often lack space or amenities for the elderly or the disabled. This study aimed to understand the status of convenience facilities installed for the elderly and disabled to use church facilities and analyze the factors that they feel uncomfortable with. The scope of the study was limited to 55 churches located in Seoul, and was selected as a single-use building of the church. The conclusions of the study are as follows. First, it is necessary to expand the scope of amenities that stipulate the installation of churches. Second, main entrance access routes should be planned to give priority to pedestrian safety. Third, since the item removing the difference in height between the main entrance is the lowest appropriate installation rate, it shall be improved preferentially. Fourth, consideration of various obstacles is needed when planning convenience facilities of the church.
