국문 초록

일상이 예술화는 우리의 삶에 심미적 경험과 감수성을 충만하게 해준다. 사상가의 관점을 응용한 예술교육은 일상경험과 가까운 차원으로 확대될 수 있는 가능성을 가진다. 양명의 예술론은 인간이 어떻게 듣고, 말하고, 행해야하는지에 대한 방법을 과거의 경험을 벗어나 구체적이고 새로운 방식으로 사고할 것을 요구한다. 그런 관점에서 본 논고는 양명학적 탐구를 통해 동아시아 예술에서의 일상의 즐거움을 표현해 낸 장욱진 작가의 학문생애사적 사례를 적용하여 심미적 접근을 하고자 한다. 양명이 말하는 예술적 본성을 표현하는 양지와 몸과 마음이 일체된 심미적인 경지는 내면의 만족감을 극대화시킨다. 인격의 수양과 동시에 양지의 가치와 심미적 실천을 통한 마음의 깨달음은 예술의 표현에도 중요한 관점으로서 작용한다. 장욱진의 예술정신은 양명의 심미적 감수성과 통하며, 그런 점에서 양명사상과 동아시아예술의 심미적 교육이 접목되는 지점을 찾을 수 있다. 동아시아 미학사상인 양명학의 심미적 사상의 탐구를 통한 장욱진의 학문생애사적인 사례는 예술과 사상의 접근을 용이하게 함으로써 현시대에 보다 많은 사람들에게 절실하게 요청되는 예술정신을 행위할 수 있는 자극을 줄 것이다.

영문 초록

Artistry in everyday life fills our lives with aesthetic experiences and sensibilities. Art education, which applies the philosopher s point of view, has the potential to expand to a level close to daily experience. Artistic theory of both requires humans to think about how to listen, talk, and do in a specific and new way beyond past experiences. From that point of view, I would like to take an aesthetic approach by applying the academic life-historical examples of Jang Wook-jin, who expressed the joy of daily life in East Asian art through Yang-Ming Studies exploration. Yang-Ming, which expresses the artistic nature of both sides, and the aesthetic state of mind and body maximize inner satisfaction. At the same time as the cultivation of personality, the enlightenment of the mind through the value of ‘Yangji’ and aesthetic practice also plays an important role in the expression of art. Jang Wook-jin s artistic spirit works with the aesthetic sensibility of both, and in this regard, one can find a point where the aesthetic education of Yang-Ming Thought and East Asian Art are combined. Jang Wook-jin s academic life-historical case through the exploration of aesthetic ideas of Yang-Ming Studies, an East Asian aestheticist, will facilitate access to art and thought, stimulating the performance of the art spirit that is desperately requested by more people in this era.
