청소년의 직업흥미 유형과 희망전공, 진로결정, 학교만족도의 관계

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 청소년의 직업흥미와 관련된 다양한 요인들의 관계를 분석하여 학교 현장에서 실질적으로 직업흥미를 활용할 수 있는 시사점을 도출하는데 있다. 이를 위해 김나라 외(2013)가 홀랜드(Holland) 이론에 근거해서 개발한 직업흥미검사 도구 개발 연구에서 중학생 5,119명, 고등학생 5,087명을 대상으로 조사한 데이터를 활용하였다. 청소년의 직업흥미 유형은 홀랜드의 6가지 유형 중에서 S형이 가장 많았고, 직업흥미 유형에 따른 장래 희망 전공분야는 R형과 I형은 공학 분야를 선택한 반면, A형, S형, E형, C형은 예체능을 장래희망 전공분야로 선택하여 차이를 보였다. 직업흥미 유형과 진로결정과의 관계는 중학생은 R형, 고등학생은 E형 및 I형이 결정 비율이 높았고, 직업흥미 유형 중 E형이 중학생 및 고등학생 모두에서 가장 학교만족도가 높았다. 결국 중고등학교에서는 청소년에게 직업흥미 유형과 관련된 직업과 전공분야 정보를 구체적으로 제공하고, 이에 맞는 진로지도 및 상담을 제공함으로써 청소년이 좀 더 적극적이고 자기주도적으로 진로를 탐색하고 선택할 수 있도록 도와줄 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore variables related with vocational interests for the adolescents. To pursue this goal, main survey data(Nara Kim et al., 2013) was used for data analysis. As a result, the most vocational interest type was the social type in adolescents. The realistic type and investigative type selected a engineering course in the future major. On the contrary, the artistic, social, enterprising and conventional type selected a music, art, and physical course. The realistic type for students in middle school and enterprising & investigative type for students in high school had correlation between vocational interests type and career decision. The realistic type had correlation to the physical course, the investigative type had correlation to the science and math, the artistic type had correlation to the are and music. Based on the findings and conclusion of this study, it is necessary to inform the various occupation and major courses and provide career guidance and counseling according to the vocational interest type.
