농업계 대학의 취업중심 교육과정개편과 졸업생의 취업경쟁력 관계 분석

국문 초록

본 연구는 농학계열 대학을 대상으로 취업을 고려한 대학교육과정의 개편이 취업에 미치는 효과를 분석하고 있다. 분석 자료는 (사)전국농학계대학장협의회와 농림수산식품교육문화 정보원이 2013년, 2014년 전국 농학계열 대학의 취업률을 조사한 자료로서, 자료선별과정을 거쳐 전국 22개 농과대학 180개 학과를 대상으로 각 학과(전공)별 학문분야와 이와 관련된 취업처, 취업자 수를 조사한 자료를 활용하여, 변이할당분석과 성장률시차분석을 이용하였다. 분석결과 교육과정개편의 효과는 국가성장, 농산업효과에 의해 취업률에 일정한 긍정적 영향을 주고 있지만, 전공자들의 취업경쟁력을 약화시키고 있었으며, 비전공분야로의 취업에는 전혀 도움을 주지도 않고, 개인의 경쟁력은 가장 취약하였다. 분석결과는 전공분야와 관련이 있는 분야로의 취업이 이루어질 때 전공자의 취업경쟁력이 있음을 실증적으로 제시하고 있으며, 장기적인 관점에서 전공영역을 강화하는 것이 학생들의 취업경쟁력을 높이는데 기여함을 보여주고 있다. 이와 같은 결과들은 농학계열 대학뿐 아니라, 비인기학과 등으로 전락하여 대학구조조정의 일선에 있는 다양한 학과들의 개편방향 등에 시사점을 줄 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

agricultural-based universities on employment. The analysis data are based on the analysis of employment rates of the National Agriculture and Agriculture departments and the Korea Agricultural Research Institute and the employment rates of each university in 2013 and 2014. After the data selection process, 180 departments from 22 agricultural universities nationwide were used to analyze shift-share analysis by using data that examined the academic fields of each department (major) and related job field and number of employees. As a result of the analysis, the effects of the curriculum reform have a certain positive effect on the employment rate due to the effects of the national growth and the agricultural industry, but they have weakened the competitiveness of the majors employment, and they do not help the employment in competitiveness. The results of the analysis show that the employment of the major s has competitiveness when they are employed in fields related to the major field, and It is shown that strengthening the major field from the long-term perspective contributes to increasing the competitiveness of the students have. These results can be suggested not only for the agriculture college but also for the competitive - specialization course and the direction of the reorganization of various departments at the front line of the university restructuring.
