테크놀로지 관련 음악교육 연구 동향

국문 초록

본 연구는 음악교육에서 테크놀로지 관련 연구의 흐름을 파악하여 시사점을 제공하고 앞으로의 연구방향을 제안하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해서 최근 20년간 학술지에 게재된 국내 연구 67편을 대상으로 하여 연도별, 학교급별, 음악교육영역별, 연구방법별, 연구주제별, 테크놀로지 유형별로 분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과에 따르면 연도별로는 2002년 부터 연구가 시작되어 꾸준히 연구가 수행되어왔고, 2002년, 2003년, 2017년, 2018년도에 활발하게 이루어진 것으로 나타났다. 학교급별로는 학교급을 명확하게 언급하지 않고 전체를 대상으로 하는 연구가 가장 많았고, 초등학교, 중등학교, 대학교, 유치원 순이었다. 음악교육영역별로는 기타, 감상, 기악, 창작, 가창, 이론 순으로 연구가 많았고, 생활화영역은 한편도 없었다. 연구방법별로는 문헌고찰이 가장 많았으며, 그 뒤를 이어 양적연구, 복합연구, 질적연구 방법연구가 많았다. 연구주제는 적용방법 및 사례, 실태 및 인식, 설계 및 개발, 이론적 탐색, 기타 순으로 연구가 많이 수행되었다. 테크놀로지 유형은 스마트 교육 전반에 관한 연구가 가장 많았고, 웹기반, 이러닝, 모바일 러닝, 소셜미디어 러닝/교육콘텐츠, 스마트교실 유형이 뒤를 이었고, 가장 적은 수의 유형은 4차 산업혁명 스마트기술 유형이었다. 연구결과릍 토대로 다음과 같은 제안을 하였다. 첫째, 모든 학교급에서 테크놀로지가 활용되고 있으므로, 학술 연구도 전 학교급에서 활발하게 수행되는 것이 필요하다. 둘째, 각 음악교육영역별로 깊이 있는 테크놀로지 관련 연구가 이루어지길 바란다. 셋째, 테크놀로지는 계속 발전하고 새로운 유형이 나오므로 이를 다루는 연구가 앞으로도 지속적으로 이루어져야 할 것이다. 넷째, 테크놀로지 활용에서 발생하는 문제점에 대한 연구가 수반되어야 할 것이다. 다섯째, 음악과 공학 분야의 공동 연구를 제안한다. 마지막으로 음악 예술의 특성을 고려한 테크놀로지 개발과 활용이 요구된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the research trends of technologies in music education to provide implications, and suggest future research direction. For this, 67 research papers published between 2000 and 2020 in Korea were analyzed by year, school level, music education area, research methods, research topics, technologies types. According to the study results, research began in 2002, and studies were actively conducted in 2002, 2003, 2017, 2018. By school level, most of the research was conducted on the whole without clearly mentioning school level, followed by elementary, secondary, university and kindergarten. By music education area, there were many studies in the order of others , appreciation , instrumental field , creation , singing , and theory , and there was no filed of daily life . By research method, literature review was the most, followed by quantitative research , complex research , and qualitative research methods. Research topics were conducted in the order of application method and case , actual status and perception , design and development , theoretical exploration , and others . For the types of technology, research on smart education in general, and web-based , e-learning , mobile learning , and social media , learning/educational contents and smart classroom , 4th industrial revolution smart technology followed. Based on research results, the following suggestions were made. First, research should be actively conducted at all school levels. Second, research related to technology for each area of music education should be studied in depth. Third, since technology continues to develop and new content comes out, research dealing with it must be continuously conducted. Fourth, research dealing with problems arising from the use of technology also should be conducted. Fifth, joint research in the field of music and engineering was proposed. Finally, it was required to develop and utilize technology considering the characteristics of music.
