국문 초록

본 연구는 2015개정 교육과정 음악교과서 국악 제재 곡에 대한 중학생의 선호도, 친숙도 및 선호도에 영향을 미치는 음악 요소를 조사하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 14종의 음악교과서에 높은 비율로 수록된 장르별 국악 제재 곡을 분석하여 18곡을 선정한 후 제재 곡을 듣고 선호도를 파악하는 온라인 설문지를 제작하여 인천, 경기도 소재 S, G 중학교 1,2,3학년 남, 녀 학생을 대상으로 실험 조사를 실시하였다. 총 139부의 수집된 자료 중 무응답 및 불성실하게 응답한 설문지 18부와 법정대리인의 동의서가 누락된 대상자의 설문지 18부를 제외한 103부의 자료 분석 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중학생의 연령, 성별, 국악교육 경험 유무는 국악 제재 곡에 대한 선호도 및 친숙도에 영향을 미치지 않으며, 평소 국악을 접할 기회가 없어서 감상하지 않은 것이 선호도에 유의한 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 선호도가 높은 국악 제재 곡 상위 5위는 ‘오나라’, ‘너영나영’, ‘사랑가’, ‘현악영산회상 중 타령’, ‘별달거리’이며 선호도가 높을수록 친숙도가 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 리듬, 선율, 음색이 국악 제재 곡 선호도에 영향을 미치는 주요한 요소인 것으로 나타났다. 본 연구는 국악 제재 곡을 친숙하게 하는 경험과 기회를 제공하기 위한 방안과 선호하는 음악 요소를 활용한 흥미 있는 국악수업 지도안 개발을 위해 기초자료를 제시한 것에 의의가 있다. 추후 연구에서는 국악이 갖는 교육적 가치의 저변을 확대하여 다각적 측면에서의 국악교육 활성화 연구와 활용도가 높은 국악수업 지도안 개발 및 효과 검증 연구가 수행되기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to investigate the musical elements affecting the preference, familiarity, and preference of middle school students for the songs sanctioned by Korean traditional music in the 2015 revised middle school music textbook. For this, 18 songs were selected by analyzing the songs sanctioned for Korean traditional music by genre at a high rate. And an online questionnaire was created to listen to the songs and grasp the preferences. An experimental survey was conducted on male and female students in grades 1, 2 and 3 at S, G middle schools located in Incheon and Gyeonggi-do. The results of analysis of 103 data are as follows. First, it was found that the age, sex, and the educational experiences of Korean traditional music did not affect the preference and familiarity of Korean traditional music. Second, the top 5 songs with high preference were “Oh Nara”, “Noryeong Nayoung”, “Sarangga”, “Taryeong in String Youngsan hyesang”, and “Byeoldalgeori”. Preference has a positive correlation with familiarity, and the higher the preference, the higher the familiarity. Third, it was found that rhythm, melody, and tone were the main factors influencing the preference of Korean traditional music. This study aims to suggest a plan to provide experiences and opportunities to familiarize songs that are sanctioned by Korean traditional music. It is meaningful to present basic evidences for the development of an interesting instructional Korean traditional music plan that utilizes favorite musical elements. In future studies, it is expected that the research on revitalizing Korean music education in various aspects by expanding the base of the educational value of Korean traditional music, the development of a highly utilized Korean traditional music class instruction plan, and verification of its effectiveness.
