국문 초록

본 연구는 극적 요소를 활용한 집단 놀이치료가 예비 놀이치료자가 경험하는 어려움과 직면하는 도전에 미치는 영향을 살펴보는 데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 전문적 지식을 학습하기 위하여 대학원 아동심리치료학과에 재학중이며 실습경험이 없는 예비놀이치료자 6명을 대상으로 선정하였다. 선행연구를 통해 연극치료에서 사용되는 극적 요소들을 활용한 집단 놀이치료 프로그램을 구성하였으며, 놀이치료 전문가에게 내용타당도를 검수받아 주 2회, 매회 50분씩 10회기의 프로그램을 완성하였다. 극적 요소를 활용한 집단놀이치료의 효과성을 검증하기 위하여 과정 내 참여자들의 변화를 질적으로 분석하였고 놀이-드라마 연속체 개념을 활용하여 발달단계별 변화를 확인하였다. 예비 놀이치료자들에게 집단 놀이치료를 적용한 결과, 연구 대상 모두 언어적·비언어적 감정표현과 자기표현력이 증가하였고, 예비 놀이치료사가 겪는 도전을 극적 현실 내에서 안전하게 해결하는 모습이 관찰되었다. 또한 놀이-드라마 연속체 개념을 활용하여 정체된 발달단계의 영역이 수평적으로 상승하며 순조롭게 기능하는데 효과가 있음을 확인하였다. 이 연구는 사례 연구이며 단기적 접근이었기 때문에 일반화에 다소 한계가 있으나, 다양한 매체를 활용하여 집단 놀이치료 프로그램을 구성하여 예비 놀이치료자들의 혼란과 도전에 기여할 수 있다는 것에 의의를 둔다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to see the effect of the group play therapy on challenges and difficulties that pre-play therapists face using some theatrical factors. For this study, six graduate students, pre-play therapists, in child psychology faculty who have never gotten hands-on experience were randomly selected. Through precedent research, group play therapy program consisted with theatrical factors of drama therapy. Group play therapy program was carefully composed with theatrical factors that are being used in drama therapy. The contents of this program was confirmed and verified by a play therapy expert. The program consists of 10 sessions, twice a week for 50 minutes. To prove the effectiveness of the group play therapy using theatrical factors, the behaviour changes of the participants were analyzed. Also, utilizing the play-drama continuum concept, changes in each development stage were observed. The results of applying group play therapy on pre-play therapists, the participants were enhanced in expressing both verbal/non-verbal emotions and the ability of self-expression. Also, it was observed that the challenges that pre-play therapists experience in dramatic reality were being handled safely. In addition, the play-drama continuum concept helped the participants to horizontally advance in development stages. Since this study was conducted observing a single case in a short period of time, it is limiting to generalize the effect. However, the goal of this study was using various mediums to compose a group play program to support pre-play therapists’ to overcome struggles and challenges.
