연극치료 방법론의 국내 독자 모델 필요성에 대한 제언

국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라의 고유한 정서를 반영한 국내 독자 모델의 필요성을 제언하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위하여 먼저 동서양의 문화차이를 살펴보았다. 다음으로 출판 도서를 중심으로 우리나라 연극치료의 연구 동향을 살펴보았으며, 이를 통해 현재 국내 독자 모델로는 박미리의 ‘감정 모델’이 유일함을 확인할 수 있었다. ‘감정 모델’의 의의는 연극, 철학, 심리학에 대한 폭넓은 이해를 바탕으로 외국의 앞선 연극치료 방법론을 적극적으로 받아들여 활용하는 한편, 독자적 방법론으로서의 구조와 기준을 제시하였다는 데 있다. 또한 그동안 연극치료 방법론에서 기본적으로 인식되어 세밀하게 활용되지 않았던 감정을 전면에 내세워 도구로 활용하였다. 이 과정에서 그는 맹자의 4단 7정으로 감정을 분류하였고, 동양의 독특한 문화인 기에 대하여 언급하였다. 이는 ‘감정 모델’이 국내 독자 모델로 개발되며 우리나라 고유의 문화와 정서, 동양적 특성에 대한 숙고를 거쳤음을 의미한다. 그러나 그의 연구 역시 동양적 맥락이 매우 적은 부분을 차지하는 것은 사실이다. 따라서 우리나라의 연극적 요소들, 굿, 탈춤, 판소리 등에 대한 연계 연구와 함께 고유의 정서인 ‘흥’, ‘신명’, ‘한’에 대한 연구 역시 필요하다. 현재 우리나라의 많은 연구자와 치료사들이 연극치료의 확장과 심화에 힘쓰고 있다. 그러나 이미 개발된 모델인 ‘감정 모델’의 확장과 활용은 매우 아쉬운 수준이다. 우리나라의 독자 모델 개발의 확산을 위해 후속 연구는 매우 중요하다고 생각된다. 본 연구를 통해 앞으로 많은 연구자와 치료사들이 우리 고유의 정서를 반영한 독자적 모델 개발의 필요성을 인식하고 방법론의 개발에 힘쓰게 될 것으로 판단된다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to propose the necessity of a domestic independent model that reflects Korea s unique sentiment. To this end, I first looked at the cultural differences between East and West. Next, we looked at the research trends of dramatherapy in Korea, focusing on published books, and through this, it was confirmed that Park s “emotional model” is the only model currently available in Korea. The significance of the “emotional model” is that it actively accepted and utilized advanced theatrical treatment methodology from foreign countries based on a broad understanding of theater, philosophy, and psychology. In addition, it is that emotions that have not been recognized and used in detail in the theater therapy methodology have been put to the fore and used them as tools. In this process, she categorized emotions as Sadan Chiljung of Mengza and mentioned the unique culture of the East, Ki. This means that the “emotional model” is developed as a domestic independent model and has undergone consideration of Korea’s unique culture, emotions, and oriental characteristics. However, it is true that her research also occupies a very small portion of the oriental context. Therefore, it is necessary to study Korean theatrical elements, rituals, mask dances, pansori, etc., as well as the unique emotions of heung , sinmyeong and han . Currently, many researchers and therapists in Korea are striving to expand and deepen dramatherapy. However, the expansion and utilization of the emotional model , a model that has already been developed, is very disappointing. It is judged that follow-up research is very important for the spread of Korea s own model development. Through this study, it is expected that in the future, many researchers and therapists will recognize the necessity of developing an independent model that reflects Korea s unique emotions and strive to develop a methodology.
