국문 초록

본 연구에서는 10년 이상 군 복무를 하고 전역한 장기복무 제대군인의 경제적 스트레스가 삶의 만족도에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 이에 대한 가족 간 긍정적 의사소통의 조절효과를 검증하는 것을 목적으로 하고 있다. 이를 위하여 제대군인지원센터를 방문하여 조사참여 가능한 제대군인을 모집한 후 자발적 설문참여를 진행하였다. 최종 분석에는 복무기간 10년 이상의 남자 장기복무 제대군인 330명의 자료를 사용하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 장기복무 제대군인의 삶의 만족도는 평균 23.4421로 ‘약간 만족’의 수준이며, 군 복무기간, 주관적 건강상태, 전직준비도에 따른 평균 차이를 확인하였다. 둘째, 장기복무 제대군인의 경제적 스트레스는 평균 2.5608로 나타나 타 일상생활 스트레스보다 높게 나타났다. 셋째, 장기복무 제대군인의 경제적 스트레스는 삶의 만족도를 저하시키며, 경제적 스트레스가 높은 장기복무 제대군인은 경제적 스트레스가 낮은 제대군인에 비해 삶의 만족도가 더 낮은 것으로 나타났다. 넷째, 가족 간 긍정적 의사소통이 장기복무 제대군인의 경제적 스트레스와 삶의 만족도 사이의 영향관계를 조절하는 것을 확인하였다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 본 연구에서는 장기복무 제대군인의 삶의 만족도 증진을 위한 정책적, 실천적 방안을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of economic stress on life satisfaction of veterans after long-term military service who have served in the military for more than 10 years, and to verify the moderating effect of positive communication between families. For this purpose, voluntary participation in the survey was conducted after visiting the Veterans Service Center to recruit discharged soldiers who could participate in the survey. The final analysis used data from 330 men s long-term service veterans with a service period of more than 10 years. Results are as follow. First, the life satisfaction level of long-term service discharged soldiers averaged 23.4421, and the average difference according to the length of military service, subjective health conditions and the degree of preparation for the transfer was confirmed. Second, the economic stress among discharged soldiers after long-term service averaged 2.5608, higher than other daily stress levels. Third, the economic stress of long-term service veterans was shown to degrade life satisfaction, and long-term service veterans with high economic stress were found to have lower satisfaction in life than veterans with low economic stress. Fourth, positive communication between family members was confirmed to moderate the relationship between the independent variable and dependent variable. Based on the results, we suggested policies and practical way to enhance the life satisfaction of veterans after long-term military service.
