국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 영아기 부정적 정서성과 어머니의 양육민감성이 학령초기 학교적응에 미치는 영향을 종단연구를 통해 살펴보고, 그 경로에서 학령 전 문제행동 및 학교준비도가 연속적으로 이중매개 하는지를 검정하고자 하였다. 연구방법: 한국아동패널조사의 2009년부터 2015년까지 6년 간의 데이터 중에서 본 연구목적에 맞는 데이터를 추출한 결과 최종 분석 대상은 824명이었고, SPSS 21.0과 AMOS 21.0을 통해 구조모형을 검정하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 영아기의 부정적 정서성과 양육민감성은 학령 전 문제행동에 직접 영향을 주었다. 둘째, 영아기 부정적 정서성이 학령초기 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 학령전 문제행동 및 학교준비도에 이중매개하였다. 셋째, 어머니의 양육민감성이 학령초기 학교적응에 미치는 영향에서 학령전 문제행동 및 학교준비도에 이중매개하였다. 결론: 영아기 부정적 정서성 및 양육민감성은 학령전 학교준비도 및 학령초기 학교적응에 직접 영향을 미치기보다는 학령전 문제행동의 완전매개를 거친 후 학령전 학교준비도의 이중연속 매개를 통해 영향을 주었다. 본 연구의 결과는 아동의 문제행동 예방적 측면에서 논의되었다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the effects of infant negative emotionality and parenting sensitivity (goodness-of-fit) on school adjustment for first-grade elementary students and examine their mediating effects on preschool problem behaviors and school readiness. Methods: The study analyzed data from 824 cases recorded during 2009–2015 from the Korean Child’s Panel Survey. It verified these cases using a Structural Equation Model. Results: First, infant negative emotionality and parenting sensitivity problem behaviors but not school readiness and school adjustment. Second, problem behaviors were completely mediated in the relationship between goodness-of-fit and school readiness. Further, problem behaviors and school readiness were serially mediated in the relationship between goodness-of-fit and school adjustment. Conclusions: Infant negative emotionality and parenting sensitivity were influenced by the full mediation effect of problem behaviors, rather than directly affecting school readiness and school adjustment. The implications were discussed regarding the question of a preventive child’s problem behavior support.
