국문 초록

연구목적: 본 연구는 유아교사의 문제행동지도전략에 영향을 미치는 심리적 요인을 이해하기 위해, 유아교사의 문제행동지도 자신감과 그릿 및 소진감이 문제행동지도전략에 어떠한 방식으로 영향을 미치는지를 알아보고자 하였다. 구체적으로 문제행동지도 자신감, 그릿이 문제행동지도전략에 미치는 영향에 대하여 소진감 변인이 조절 및 매개 역할을 하는지 살펴보았다. 연구방법: B지역의 유치원․어린이집 22곳에 근무하는 유아교사 223명을 대상으로 질문지 조사를 실시하였으며, 수집된 자료는 SPSS-WIN 25.0 프로그램을 이용하여 기술통계, Cronbach’s α, 적률상관분석, 위계적 회귀분석을 통해 분석하였다. 연구결과: 첫째, 유아교사의 문제행동지도전략에 대해 문제행동지도 자신감 및 그릿은 정적 상관관계를, 소진감은 부적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 유아교사의 소진감은 문제행동지도 자신감이 문제행동지도전략에 미치는 영향을 조절하였다. 즉, 유아의 문제행동지도 자신감이 문제행동지도전략에 미치는 긍정적 영향력은 소진감이 낮은 경우에만 유의하였다. 마지막으로 유아교사의 그릿이 문제행동지도전략에 미치는 영향은 소진감 변인이 부분 매개하였다. 결론: 유아교사의 문제행동지도 자신감 및 그릿과 같은 심리적 요인은 문제행동지도전략에 긍정적 영향을 미치나, 이러한 영향력은 소진감 변인의 조절 및 매개적 역할을 통해 완화된다. 유아교사의 바람직한 문제행동지도전략 사용을 위해서 이들의 소진감을 줄이기 위한 다각적 노력이 필요함을 시사한다.

영문 초록

Objective: This study attempted to investigate the influence of problem behavior guidance confidence, grit and burnout on problem behavior guidance strategies in order to understand psychological factors that affect problem behavior guidance strategies of early childhood teachers. More specifically, this study investigated mediating and moderating role of burnout in the influence of problem behavior guidance confidence and grit on problem behavior guidance strategies. Methods: Two hundred twenty three early childhood teachers participated in this study. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, Cronbach’s α, product moment correlation analysis and hierarchical multiple regression Results: First, problem behavior guidance strategies were significantly and positively correlated with problem behavior guidance confidence and grit, but negatively correlated with burnout. Second, early childhood teachers’ burnout moderated the influence of problem behavior guidance confidence on problem behavior guidance strategies. The positive influence of problem behavior guidance confidence on problem behavior guidance strategies was significant only when the level of burnout were low. Finally, burnout partially mediated the influence of early childhood teachers’ grit on problem behavior guidance strategies. Conclusions: Psychological factors such as problem behavior guidance confidence and grit have positively influenced on early childhood teachers’ problem behavior guidance strategies and this influence was alleviated through moderating and mediating role of burnout. This results suggest that every effort needs to be made to reduce burnout in order for early childhood teachers to use desirable problem behavior guidance strategies.
