국문 초록

본 연구는 국내외 산악연구의 대상과 방법론을 분석한 후 이를 바탕으로 미래 산악연구의 방향성을 도출하기 위해 수행되었다. 이를 위해 국내외 354편의 산악 관련 연구를 분석하였고, 분석된 내용의 타당성을 확인하기 위해 전문가 6인의 협의를 거쳤다. 연구결과 첫째, 국내 산악연구는 양적인 성장을 이루는 초기단계이며 뚜렷한 학문적 경향성이 구축되지 않았다. 미래 산악연구에서는 산악, 등반, 등산 등의 활동에 대한 학문적 개념 정의에 관한 연구, 관광학, 여가학, 심리학, 교육학적 측면을 고려한 프로그램 개발에 대한 연구, 그리고 보다 다양한 연구대상을 통한 인구통계학적 특성 분석 연구가 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 둘째 현재 까지의 산악연구는 기초적인 기술통계 분석이나 에세이 형식의 연구가 주종을 이루었다. 미래 산악연구자는 연구방법에 대한 깊이 있는 이해를 통한 다양한 연구방법의 적용이 필요할 것으로 생각된다. 본 연구는 미래 산악연구를 학문적으로 정립하기 위한 개관연구이며, 질적이고 세분화된 유목화와 분석에 있어 한계가 존재한다. 미래 연구에서는 보다 미시적인 접근을 통해, 구체적인 산악연구의 패러다임을 제공할 수 있기를 기대한다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to find the direction of future mountain research based on the analysis of the research subjects and methodology of domestic and foreign mountain research. For the purpose, 354 domestic and foreign mountain-related studies were analyzed, and 6 experts were consulted to confirm the validity of the analyzed contents. This study found that domestic mountain research is in the early stages of achieving quantitative growth, and no clear academic trend has been established. Future mountain research needs to address the clear definitions of mountain-related concepts such as mountain, climbing, and mountaineering. In addition future research needs to consider program development converged from tourism, leisure, psychology, and pedagogy and needs to analyze demographic characteristics through more diverse research subjects. Moreover, to date, mountain research has mainly been essay-type research or has used basic descriptive statistics analysis. Future mountain researchers need to apply various research methods through an in-depth understanding of research methods. This study is an overview study to find directions of future mountain research, and there are limitations in content analysis qualitatively and quantitatively. Future research is expected to provide a concrete paradigm for mountain research through a more microscopic approach with various research subjects.
