니체의 “계보학적 도덕해석학”에 비추어 본 “인간화”로서의 도덕교육

국문 초록

이 논문은 도덕교육의 합당한 입지(의미)를 확인하기 위해 니체의 ‘도덕적 가치에 대한 계보학적 해석학’을 논의의 대상으로 삼는다. 이러한 시도는 ‘도덕’교육(도덕화)에 대한 기존의 견해를 넘어서 도덕‘교육’(인간화)의 위치를 재검토하는 것으로 이어지게 된다. 그에 따르면 도덕적 가치를 내면화하는 것에 국한하여 도덕교육을 이해하는 교육관은 자체적인 교화의 가능성 이외에도 또 하나의 차원의 교화로 흐를 수 있다. 이것을 극적으로 표현하면, ‘도덕’교육에 성공하면 할수록 오히려 도덕‘교육’에 배치될 수 있다. 이는 한 걸음 더 나아가 도덕, 지식, 예술 등 교육적 가치를 갖는 일체의 전통과 문화를 내면화하는 것에 초점을 맞추는 교육방식은 궁극적인 의미의 교육인 인간의 인간화에 반(反)할 수 있다는 것을 시사한다. 이러한 문제 사태는 도덕률의 내면화를 넘어서는 도덕교육의 차원(지향점)을 적극적으로 모색해야 할 필요성을 부각시킨다. 이렇게 요청되는 새로운 도덕교육의 가능성은, 니체철학에서 재구성해볼 때, 관점주의적 한계와 가능성을 적극적으로 긍정할 때 비로소 가시화되는 ‘자유정신’과 해석학적 ‘실험철학’에서 좀 더 구체적인 지평을 드러낸다. 그에 따라 이 논문에서 대변하고자 하는 새로운 도덕교육의 길은, 한마디로 말해, 선악(도덕화)을 넘어설 때 비로소 가능해지는 근원적인 선의 창조(도덕적 인간화)를 향하고 있다.

영문 초록

In this paper I undertake to interpret Nietzsche s genealogical hermeneutics of moral values hoping to estimate the meanings of moral education properly . This study consists chiefly of two parts; on the one hand criticizing common positions about moral education(moralizing) and on the other hand examining the possibility of moral education(humanizing). The analysis shows that the moral education which lays its focus mainly on the internalization of moral values might suffer under the risk of another form of indoctrination besides the indoctrination resulted from its own failure. Extremely spoken, the more successful the moral education would be done, the more severely might it fail in the moral education . This painful results might also apply to the general educational activities which intend to internalize educational values, for example, moral, knowledge, fine arts. Confronted with such a problematic situation I am eager to reconstruct Nietzsche s philosophy, especially his lessens that the new horizon of moral humanizing would be open to us only when we could exercise the free spirit and philosophical orientated art of existence on the basis of accepting our perspective destiny . The position which I want here to represent, is: A new way to moral education leads us to the creative experience about original good which should be possible only when the rigid contradiction between good and evil is overcome.
