국문 초록

본 연구는 마을교육공동체 참여 교사들의 경험에 대한 의식 탐구를 통하여 마을교육공동체 발전 방안을 모색해 보는 것에 있다. 이를 위한 연구 방법은 내러티브 연구로 마을교육공동체 활동 경험이 있는 교사 5명을 대상으로 하였다. 이를 위해 활용한 틀은 맥락성/협동/상생의 생태주의이다. 그 결과 교사들의 인식은 5가지로 범주화 할 수 있었는데 맥락성에 속하는 범주는 두 가지로 ‘교육적 가치로서 마을교육공동체’와 ‘교육과정 연계의 흑과 백’이다. 다음 학생·마을주민·교사라는 세 주체들 간의 ‘신뢰와 성장’은 협동이었으며 마을 사람들과 ‘관계 맺기’의 어려움과 중요함은 협동/상생 모두에 포함되는 범주라 할 수 있었다. 마지막으로 ‘기다림’은 상생을 의미한다. 결론은 첫째, 이론가와 정책 입안가들이 주장하는 마을교육공동체의 의미와 필요성을 현장 교사들도 인정하고 있다. 둘째, 마을교육공동체 사업이 학교로 접근하는 방식에 있어 제도적 접근보다 가치, 철학 등의 문화적으로 접근할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 마을교육공동체가 정규 교육과정과 연계해야 한다는 기준에 대해 득과 실을 파악하고, 타당성을 확보해야 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore ways to develop the village education community by exploring the awareness of the experiences of teachers participating in the village education community. The research method for this was a narrative study, targeting 5 teachers with experience in village education community activities. The framework used for this is context/cooperation/win-win, that is, ecology. As a result, teachers perceptions could be categorized into five categories. The five are a village education community as an educational value , black and white in connection with the curriculum , trust and growth , building a relationship’, and waiting . The conclusion of the study is: First, teachers in the field also acknowledge the meaning and necessity of the village education community that theorists and policy makers argue. Second, it is necessary to take a cultural approach such as values and philosophy rather than an institutional approach in the way village education community projects approach schools. Third, it is necessary to grasp the benefits and losses of the regulation that the village education community should be linked with the school s regular curriculum and secure its validity.
