진로구성 상담에서 내러티브 접근에 대한 탐색적 논의

국문 초록

진로가 하나의 ‘일’만이 아니라 삶과의 조화를 추구하고 역할과 환경의 맥락을 고려한 의미 구축을 도모하는 것으로 변모하면서 개인의 진로구성을 위한 내러티브 접근에 대한 관심이 증가하였다(Busacca & Rehfuss, 2017). 이에 본 연구에서는 구성주의 철학에 기반한 대표적인 진로이론의 내용을 살펴보고 그 중 진로구성이론(career construction theory)과 체계이론 틀(system theory framework)의 진로상담의 주요 개념과 내용 및 과정을 탐색하였다. 특히 내러티브를 활용한 구성주의 진로상담의 대표 이론인 진로구성이론과 체계이론 틀의 핵심개념과 특징, 진로상담에의 적용과정 그리고 내러티브 접근을 위한 기법을 살펴봄으로써 구성주의 진로상담이 실제 어떤 방식으로 이루어지며 내러티브의 접근이 진로상담과정에서 어떻게 활용되는가를 논의하였다. 이러한 연구결과는 빠른 사회변화와 다양한 내담자들의 확장된 진로 이슈들을 다루어야만 하는 국내 진로상담 분야에서도 구성주의 철학을 담은 진로상담의 적용 가능성을 타진하고 새로운 진로프로그램 개발에 활용 가능성을 모색하는데 활용될 수 있다. 본 연구는 국내 진로상담 영역에서 내러티브 접근을 위한 구조화된 상담도구 개발에 기초자료로써 활용되는데 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of career counseling was not to select a specific job, but to pursue harmony between life and work, and to transform meaning making with consideration of various roles and contexts. Therefore, this study examined the contents of representative career theories based on the constructivist philosophy and explored the main concepts, contents, and processes of career counseling in the career construction theory and system theory framework. To this end, I will focus on the core concepts and characteristics of the career construction theory and system theory framework, the process of applying them to career counseling, and the techniques of counseling through narrative approaches. Based on this, shows the direction of applying the narrative approach of career counseling interventions. Also this study discusses the possibility of applying career counseling with constructivist worldview in the field of domestic career counseling, and presents data for the development of a new career program, and discusses what to consider when using a narrative approach to career counseling.
