아버지와 어머니의 정서표현성이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아버지와 어머니의 정서표현성이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 분석하여 부모가 자녀를 양육하고 교육하면서 감정표현의 중요성을 인식하여 상황에 맞게 정서표현을 사용하게 하고자 하는 것이다. 이를 위해 G시의 유치원에 다니고 있는 만 3,4,5세 유아 455명과 그들의 아버지와 어머니를 대상으로 그들의 정서표현성이 유아의 정서지능에 미치는 영향을 살펴보았다. 연구결과, 유아의 정서지능전체에는 어머니의 긍정적표현성, 아버지의 긍정적표현성, 어머니의 부정적정서표현성순으로 영향을 미쳤으며, 유아의 정서지능 하위요인 중 자기인식능력, 타인인식능력, 타인조절능력에 있어서는 어머니와 아버지의 긍정적정서표현이 영향을 주었다. 또한, 유아의 정서지능 중 자기조절능력에는 어머니의 부정적정서표현성과 긍정적정서표현성 즉, 어머니의 정서표현만이 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과는 아버지와 어머니의 역할을 올바르게 이해하고 유익한 정보를 제공함으로써 유아의 정서지능을 높이는데 기여하고자 한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influence of emotional expression of father and mother on emotional intelligence of young children, to raise and educate young children, to recognize the importance of emotional expression and to use positive and negative expressions according to the situation. For this purpose, this study examined the effect of father and mother s emotional expressiveness on the emotional intelligence of young children for 455 young children aged 3, 4 and 5 attending kindergartens in G city and their fathers and mothers. In the results of the study, the overall emotional intelligence of young children was influenced by the positive expression of the mother, the positive expression of the father, and the negative expression of the mother, and the positive expression of the mother and father among the lower factors of the young child s emotional intelligence, in terms of self-awareness, other-person awareness, and the ability of other members. In addition, it was found that only the negative emotion expression of the mother, positive emotion expression of the mother, or emotional expression of the mother, among the emotional intelligence of young children. These results are intended to contribute to enhancing the emotional intelligence of young children by correctly understanding the roles of fathers and mothers and providing informative information.
