국문 초록

본 연구는 부모의 폭력으로 자기 비난을 호소하는 참여자가 자신의 내면아이를 탐색하고 수용함으로써 부적응 증상을 완화하고 심리․정서․사회적 성장을 도모하고자 진행한 연구이다. 2018년 2월부터 2018년 12월까지 내면아이치료와 내면가족체계치료를 접목시킨 ‘내면아이상담’을 총 21회기 진행하였다. 본 연구의 주요 결과는 다음과 같다. 참여자는 부모의 폭력으로 인한 고통스러운 감정, 부적응적 성격특성, 자기 거부적 모습으로 자기 비난을 강화하고 있었다. 또한 참여자는 어린 시절의 미해결된 슬픔을 가진 아이, 극단적 행동으로 내면을 보호하려는 아이, 자기 내․외부 세계를 통제하려는 아이 등 역할이 뚜렷하고 각자의 방식으로 행동하는 내면아이들이 관찰되었다. 참여자는 본 연구의 ‘내면아이상담’을 통해 자신의 내면아이들과 안전한 접촉을 하고 미해결된 핵심감정의 수용, 증상에 대한 통제력 회복, 자기표현, 대인관계 능력의 향상 등 긍정적인 변화를 보였다. 이와 같은 결과는 ‘내면아이상담’이 부모의 폭력으로 고통 받는 참여자의 변화와 성장을 위한 효과적인 개입법이 될 수 있음을 제시하였다.

영문 초록

This study was conducted to help a female college student who was struggling with self-criticism due to the effect of parental violence in childhood. To alleviate maladjustment symptoms and promote psychological, emotional, and social growth of the participant, Inner Child Counseling , which combines Inner Child Therapy and Inner Family System Therapy, was provided for a total of 21 sessions. The results of this study are as follows: it was found that the participant has been reinforcing her self-criticism with painful feelings, maladaptive personality characteristics, and self-rejection caused by her experiences of parental violence. In addition, the participant was found to have several inner children with distinctive roles, such as a child who had unfinished sadness in her childhood, a child who wanted to protect her inner self with extreme behaviors, and a child who wanted to control her inner and outer worlds The participant of this study showed positive changes through Inner Child Counseling , such as making a safe contact with her inner children, accepting unfinished core emotions, restoring control over symptoms and self-expression, and improving interpersonal skills. The results of this study suggest that Inner Child Counseling can be an effective intervention for the change and growth of people suffering from parental violence.
