국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 지역사회에 거주하는 만 65세 이상 노인을 대상으로 작업치료에 대한 인식 정도 및 필요성에 대해 조사하고자 한다. 연구방법: 2019년 11월 1일부터 11월 19일까지 부산, 경남, 대전지역에 거주하는 지역사회 노인을 대상으로 설문조사를 실시하였다. 69부의 설문지가 최종 분석 자료로 활용되었다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 25.0을 활용하여 기술 통계분석을 하였다. 연구결과: 작업치료에 대해 알고 있는지에 관한 문항에서 “보통이다”라고 응답한 대상자가 32명(46.4%)으로 가장 많았으며, 작업치료에 대한 인식정도를 묻는 “작업치료 대상자가 누군지” 및 “작업치료의 목적이 무엇인지”에 관한 문항에서는 다중응답으로 “신체장애 및 질환이 있는 자”가 61명(37.7%), “건강, 기능의 향상 및 회복”이 64명(39.5%)으로 가장 많았다. 작업치료 필요성에 대한 응답으로는 “대체로 필요하다”가 36명(52.2%), “반드시 필요하다”가 24명(34.8%)순으로 가장 많았다. 결론: 지역사회 노인들의 작업치료에 대한 인식도와 필요성이 전반적으로 높게 나와 지역별, 분야별로 작업치료 관련된 시설과 작업치료 프로그램 및 교육이 마련되어 작업치료 서비스를 제공해야 할 필요가 있다는 것을 알 수 있다. 향후 지역사회에서 작업치료에 대한 관련법 제정 및 활성화 방안이 마련되어야 할 것으로 보인다.

영문 초록

Objective : In the present study, the demand for occupational therapy for the elderly in the community is increasing, We will examine the recognition of occupational therapy the elderly in the community. Methods : From November 1st to November 19, 2019, 69 questionnaire surveys were conducted for the elderly in the community in Busan, Kyungnam and Daejeon provinces Respectively. A total of 100 questionnaires were distributed, and questionnaires collected via internet links and direct visits 69 parts. The collected data were analyzed using SPSS Technical statistical analysis was performed using Version 25.0. Results : In the question of whether Do you know about occupational therapy, 28 persons(40.6%) responded to the questionnaire, and clients who need occupational therapy the higher rate of Physical disability and a disease was 61 persons(37.7%). Also, purpose of occupational therapy the higher rate of Health, Recovery and Improvement of function 64 persons(39.5%), and Necessity of Occupational Therapy “was positively necessary“ 24 persons(34.8%). Conclusion : Recognition of occupational therapy for the elderly in the community is low, but the need for occupational therapy. It is necessary to provide facilities and rehabilitation occupation therapy in the community program and education to provide rehabilitation occupation service. In order to activate in the community systematically in the future.
