인지자극활동에 대한 작업치료사 요구도 조사

국문 초록

목적: 본 연구는 서울⋅경기⋅부산 지역의 요양병원과 요양시설에서 근무하고 있는 작업치료사의 인지자극활동의 인식도, 시행현황, 요구도를 알아보고 인지자극활동의 전문가로서의 활성화 방안을 알아보고자 실시하였다. 연구방법: 본 연구는 2019년 11월 4일부터 11월 25일까지 연구 참여에 동의한 서울, 경기, 부산 요양병원 및 요양시설에서 치매환자를 대상으로 인지자극활동프로그램 경험이 있는 28명의작업치료사에게 실시하였으며 온라인 설문지를 통하여 조사하였다. 자료 분석은 수집된 자료를 빈도와 백분율을 통해 산출하였다. 연구결과: 작업치료사에 대한 인지자극활동프로그램 인식도 조사결과 ‘잘 알고 있다’ 14명(50%)이었으며, 인지자극활동의 필요성에 대한 조사 결과 ‘매우 그렇다’ 24명(85.7%)이었다. 인지자극활동프로그램에 대한 작업치료사의 요구도 조사결과 작업치료사의 역할에 대하여 ‘잘 알고 있다’ 12명(42.9%), 역할에 대한 중요도에 대한 조사 결과 ‘매우 중요하다’ 26명(92.9%)이었다. 그러나 임상에서 인지자극활동을 주도하는 전문가에 작업치료사가 포함되어있다는 사실을 아는가에 대한 조사결과 ‘예’ 4명(14.3%), ‘아니오’ 24명(85.7%)이었고, 현재 임상에서 인지자극활동프로그램을 시행 하고 있는 전문가가 요양보호사임을 알고 있는가에 대한 조사 결과 ‘네’, ‘아니오’가 각각 14명(50%) 이었다. 결론: 본 연구는 작업치료사의 인지자극활동에 대한 인식도, 시행현황, 요구도를 알아보았다. 향후 인지자극활동을 시행하는 전문가로서의 작업치료의 발전 및 보건의료정책의 기초를 위한 자료로 제공하고자 한다.

영문 초록

Objective : This study was conducted to find out the awareness, implementation status, and demands of the occupational therapist working at nursing homes and nursing facilities in Seoul, Gyeonggi and Busan, and to find out how to promote the cognitive stimulation activities as an expert. Methods : This study was conducted to occupational therapist with experience in the cognitive stimulation program for dementia patients at Seoul, Gyeonggi, Busan nursing homes and nursing facilities that agreed to participate in the research from November 4 to November 25, 2019 and was investigated through an online questionnaire. The data analysis is based on frequency and percentage of the data collected. Results : The survey also showed that 14 people (50%) were I know well of occupational therapists, while 24 people(85.7%) were It really is of the survey on the need for human cognitive activity.
