영문 초록

The prime objective of this study was to make mid-long term directions for vocational education and training in the Participatory Goverrument. For the objective of this study the related literatures were extensively reviewed in the governmental vocational education and training policies. The major findings of this study were as followings: 1) The both of national long-term and short-term master plan should be established and put into action in order for operating policies of lifelong vocational education and training; 2) The Government should establish an integration and mediation mechanism that can contribute to the actual operation of the vocational education and training; 3) The control system of assessing the quality at a national level should be operated in order to evaluated results of performances of lifelong vocational education and training; 4) The educational system should be built up for all citizen who want to participate in vocational education and training; 5) In order to consolidate supports of the human and material resources, related funds should also be prepared to secure continuous financial supports.
