국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 전기·전자·통신 교과 초임 교사의 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식을 조사하여, 전기·전자·통신교과 초임 교사의 직전 교육 운영이나 교사 연수 프로그램 개발 및 운영에 기초 자료를 제시하는 것이다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위해 기존 선행 연구를 바탕으로 초임 교사의 직무 수행에 관한 5개의 영역(교과 지도, 생활 지도, 학급 경영, 대외 활동, 행정 업무)과 37개의 하위 요소를 선정한 후 내용 타당도 검증과 안면 타당도 검증을 통하여 최종 수정 작업을 거쳐 설문지를 개발하였다. 조사 대상은 최근 3년 이내 전기·전자·통신 교과 임용 고사에 합격한 초임 교사 158명이며, 128부를 배부하고 114부를 회수하였다. 회수한 설문지 114부를 활용하여 분석하였다. 이 연구의 주요 결론을 제시하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 영역별 전기·전자·통신 초임 교사의 인식에 의한 직무 수행 정도는 행정 업무 영역(M=3.94), 생활 지도 영역(M=3.88), 학급 경영 영역(M=3.80), 교과 지도 영역(M=3.73), 대외 활동 영역(M=3.46) 순으로 높은 것으로 나타났다. 초임 교사의 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식의 전체 평균은 3.76으로 높게 나타났다. 둘째, 각 영역에서 배경 변인별 차이를 분석한 결과 성별, 경력, 근무 학교, 교원 자격증 취득, 연령대에 따라직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식에서 유의미한 차이가 있었다. 성별에 따른 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식은 학급 경영 영역에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 경력에 따른 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식은 교과 지도, 생활 지도, 학급 경영, 행정 업무 영역에서 차이가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 근무 학교에 따른 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식은 학급 경영, 대외 활동, 행정 업무 영역에서, 교원 자격증 취득에 따른 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식은 교과 지도, 학급 경영, 대외 활동 영역에서 차이가 있었다. 연령대에 따른 직무 수행 정도에 대한 인식은 교과 지도와 행정 업무 영역에서 차이가 있었다.

영문 초록

This study aimed to investigate perception on job performances among the beginning teachers from the department of electric, electronic & communication in technical high schools and provide basic data needed to develop and operate a training program for them. For this, based on analysis on previous studies, the beginning teachers’ job performances were divided into 5 categories(curriculum guidance, school life guidance, class management, extraordinary activities and administrative duties) and 37 sub-categories. After going through a final adjustment, then, a questionnaire was developed through content validity and face validity tests. The questionnaire survey was conducted against 158 beginning teachers from the department of electric, electronic & communication in technical high schools, who passed a national teacher exam within three years. Among a total of 128 copies distributed, 114 ones were collected and analyzed. The study results found the followings: First, in terms of the level of perception on job performance by category among the beginning teachers from the department of electric, electronic & communication in technical high schools, ‘administrative duties(M=3.94)’ were the highest, followed by ‘school life guidance(M=3.88),’ ‘class management(M=3.80),’ ‘curriculum guidance (M=3.73)’ and ‘extraordinary activities(M=3.46).’ The overall average of the perception on job performance was as high as 3.76. Second, according to analysis on differences in perception on job performances by background variable in each category, a statistically significant difference was found depending on gender, career, school, existence of faculty license and age. In terms of perception on job performance by gender, difference was found in school management. In terms of perception on job performance by career, difference was observed in curriculum guidance, school life guidance, class management and administrative duties. In terms of perception on job performance by school, difference occurred in class management, extraordinary activities and administrative duties. In terms of perception on job performance by the existence of faculty license, difference was found in curriculum guidance, class management and extraordinary activities. In terms of perception on job performance by age, difference was observed in curriculum guidance and administrative duties.
