대학생의 다차원적 완벽주의와 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 학업·진로스트레스의 매개효과

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 대학생의 다차원적 완벽주의에 따른 학업ㆍ진로스트레스와 심리적 안녕감의 관계를 살펴보고, 다차원적 완벽주의 하위차원과 심리적 안녕감의 관계에서 학업ㆍ진로스트레스의 매개효과를 검증하는 것이다. 이 목적을 위하여 J도에 소재한 4년제 대학교의 대학생 314명을 대상으로 하여 다차원적 완벽주의 척도, 학업ㆍ진로스트레스척도, 심리적 안녕감 척도를 사용하여 설문조사를 실시하고, 구조방정식 모형(SEM)을 활용하여 검증하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 자기지향적 완벽주의와 타인지향적 완벽주의 수준이 높을수록 학업ㆍ진로스트레스는 낮고 심리적 안녕감은 높지만, 사회부과적 완벽주의 수준이 높을수록 학업ㆍ진로스트레스는 높고 심리적 안녕감은 낮은것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 다차원적 완벽주의 하위차원들 중 자기지향적 완벽주의는 매개모형의 조건을 충족시키지 못하였고, 타인지향적 완벽주의와 사회부과적 완벽주의는 심리적 안녕감과의 관계에서 학업ㆍ진로스트레스가 완전매개를 하는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 대학생의 완벽주의 차원에 따라 심리적 안녕감으로 가는 경로에서 학업ㆍ진로스트레스의 매개효과가 다르다는 것을 확인하였다. 끝으로 이 연구의 결과를 토대로 연구의 의의와 후속연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to test mediation effect of academic and career stress in the relation between multidimensional perfectionism and psychological well-being. Data was collected through a self-report questionnaire which was administered to 314 college students. The results were as follows. First, higher self-oriented perfectionism and other-oriented perfectionism resulted in higher psychological well-being and lower academic and career stress. Higher socially prescribed perfectionism resulted in higher academic stress and lower psychological well-being. Second, meditation effect of academic and career stress in the relation between other-oriented perfectionism and socially prescribed perfectionism and psychological well-being was significant. However, meditation effect of academic and career stress in the relation between self-oriented perfectionism and psychological well-being was not significant. These results indicated that depending on the dimension of perfectionism, the of academic and career stress can be different through the path from multidimensional perfectionism to psychological well-being.
