특성화고등학교 학생의 취업·진학결정수준과 준비행동에 따른 진로결정 유형화 및 영향요인 분석

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 특성화고등학교 학생들의 진로결정 유형을 도출하고 각 집단의 특성을 확인하며 이들 집단에 영향을 미치는 요인을 구명하는 데 있다. 연구 대상은 전국의 특성화고등학교 1, 2학년 학생으로 층화군집비율 표집을 사용했다. 총 700부의 설문지를 배포하여 최종적으로 648부가 회수(92.6%)되었으며 불성실한 응답자 및 이상치를 제외하고, 최종적으로 627부의 자료가 분석에 활용되었다. 연구 방법의 경우 잠재 프로파일 분석을 위해 Mplus 6.0을 사용했으며 영향요인 분석을 위해 R3.3.1을 사용하여 다항 프로빗 분석을 실시했다. 연구 결과 및 결론을 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 진로결정 유형은 5가지가 도출되었으며 그 특성을 반영하여 `약한취업선호-미행동`집단, `강한취업선호-강한취업행동`집단, `보통취업선호-탐색행동`집단, `진로미결정-미행동`집단, `강한진학선호-강한진학행동`집단으로 명명하였다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생들의 진로결정 잠재집단에 영향을 미치는 요인을 분석한 결과 차별인식, 진로결정 자기효능감, 학교 교육만족도, 개인의 교육 포부, 학업 성취(일반, 전문교과), 가정 경제 수준, 부모의 교육 기대가 유의미한 변인으로 도출되었다. 연구 제언은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 중등직업교육 체제와 관련하여 선취업후진학 체계를 강화하고 학교 교육과정에서 이에 대한 정확한 정보를 제공하고 안내할 필요가 있다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 내에서 졸업 후 비전을 제시하고 학생들의 진로결정 자기효능감 등을 높여줄 수 있는 교육 프로그램을 운영할 필요가 있다. 셋째, 전반적으로 특성화고등학교 학생들의 진로 상담 및 체험 횟수가 매우 적은 만큼 특성화고등학교에서 진로교육을 강화할 필요가 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to identify the classification of career decision making of vocational high school students, and analyze the differences of classifications and its influential factors. The data was gathered by stratified, cluster and proportional sampling for first and second vocational high school students. total of 648 out of 700 questionnaires were returned, and 627 were used for analysis after data cleaning. The Mplus 6.0 and R 3.3.1 were used to analyze. Major findings of the study were as follows. First, there were five latent groups of career decision making. The names of the groups were `low preference of employment-non behavior` group, `high preference of employment-high employment behavior` group, `middle preference employment-exploratory behavior` group, `career indecision-non behavior` group, `high pursuing higher education-high pursuing higher education behavior` group. Second, the valid factors of multinominal probit analysis which took a reference group was `high preference of employment-high employment behavior` were Awareness of discrimination, career decision making self-efficacy, satisfaction of school`s education, educational aspiration, motivation of entrance, economic level of family, school achievement. Some recommendations for future research and practical uses are as follows. First, it is necessary that `work first-then to college` policy be enforced to facilitate employment. and provide precise, various information to vocational high school students. Second, the educational programs which facilitate career decision making self-efficacy needs to be more active. third, the career counseling and experience programs should be extended and upgraded to their quality.
