내재화, 외현화, 내-외 혼재 문제를 가진 유아의 기질 특성 비교 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 유아의 기질이 문제행동에 미치는 영향을 확인하고, 내재화 문제, 외현화 문제, 내재화-외현화 혼재 문제를 가진 유아의 기질 특성을 비교하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국의 만 3, 4, 5세 자녀를 둔 어머니 341명을 대상으로 유아의 기질(CBQ-SF)과 문제행동(K-CBCL 1.5-5)을 묻는 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과를 요약하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 내재화 문제는 수줍음, 분노/좌절, 슬픔과는 정적 상관을, 미소/웃음, 진정성, 주의 집중과는 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 외현화 문제는 접근성, 강한 자극 선호성, 활동 수준, 충동성, 분노/좌절과 정적 상관을 보였으며, 진정성, 억제 조절, 주의 집중과 부적 상관을 나타냈다. 둘째, 분노/좌절, 수줍음, 미소/웃음, 억제 조절, 주의 집중은 내재화 문제를 예측했으며, 분노/좌절, 주의 집중, 충동성, 억제 조절은 외현화 문제를 예측하였다. 셋째, 내재화 문제, 외현화 문제, 내-외 혼재 문제, 정상 집단을 간의 기질 특성의 차이 분석을 진행한 결과, 미소/웃음, 활동 수준, 수줍음, 충동성, 분노/좌절, 슬픔, 억제 조절, 주의 집중, 자극 민감성에서 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 이와 같은 연구 결과를 바탕으로 본 연구의 의의 및 한계, 후속 연구를 위한 제언을 논의하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to examine the influence of Temperament on Behavior problems and compare temperament in children with internalizing behavior problems, externalizing behavior problems and comorbidity. Surveys were conducted by 341 mothers who have 3, 4, 5 years child. The results were as follow: First, Correlation analysis results showed that there was a significant positive correlation between internalizing behavior problems and Shyness, Anger/Frustration, Sadness. There was significant negative correlation between internalizing behavior problems and Smiling/Laughter, Soothability, Attentional Focusing. There was significant positive correlation between externalizing behavior problems and Approach, High Intensity Pleasure, Activity Level, Impulsivity, Anger/Frustration. There was significant negative correlation between externalizing behavior problems and Soothability, Inhibitory Control, Attentional Focusing. Second, Anger/Frustration, Shyness, Smiling/Laughter, Inhibitory Control, Attentional Focusing predict internalizing behavior problems, and Anger/Frustration, Attentional Focusing, Impulsivity, Inhibitory Control predict externalizing behavior problems. Third, comparing temperament of internalizing behavior problems, externalizing behavior problems and comorbidity and normal groups, they have significant difference in Smiling/Laughter, Activity Level, Shyness, Impulsivity, Anger/Frustration, Sadness, Inhibitory Control, Attentional Focusing, Perceptual Sensitivity. Based on the above research results, Implications, limitations and suggestions for future studies were discussed.
