한국노인의 자살실태와 해결방안에 관한 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 최근 노인자살 문제가 사회적으로 큰 이슈가 되고 있는 상황에서 이에 대한 체계적이고 전문적인 개입이 이루어지고 있지 못하다는 문제 의식하에, 노인자살 실태 및 현황을 살펴보고, 이러한 노인자살 문제를 해결하기 위한 실질적인 대책을 마련함에 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 내용을 살펴보면, 노인자살 문제 실태에 관한 기존 통계 및 논문자료를 토대로 살펴보았고, 노인자살 관련 프로그램에 대한 자문을 구한 후 기존 자료를 토대로 살펴보았으며, 노인자살 관련 정책 및 제도에 대한 기존 논문을 토대로 제시하였다. 본 연구 결과, OECD 가입 국가중 한국의 자살률이 가장 높게 나타났으며, 그 다음으로 슬로베니아, 헝가리 순으로 나타났다. 노인자살 수단별 현황을 살펴보면, 60대, 70대, 80대 이상 모두에세 목맴이 가장 높게 나타났다. 노인자살 월별 현황을 살펴보면, 60대, 70대, 80대 이상 모두에서 9월과 10월에 가장 많이 발생하는 것으로 나타났다. 노인자살 동기별 현황을 살펴보면, 육체적 질병 움ㄴ제로 인한 자살 사망자 비율이 가장 높게 나타났고, 그 다음으로 정신적 질병문제 순으로 나타났다. 이러한 결과를 토대로 노인자살 문제를 해결하기 위한 방안을 제시하면, 첫째, 노인자살의 감소 및 예방을 위한 현실적인 경제적 지원 대책이 필요하다. 둘째, 노인자살이 급증하고 있지만 노인자살예방센터는 아직도 부족한 실정이다. 셋째, 노인자살 위험군에 대한 사정도구가 국가적 차원에서 개발될 필요가 있다. 넷째, 지역사회 중심 노인자살예방 네트워크 구축을 강화하는 전략이 필요하다. 다섯째, 노인자살 예장을 위해서는 노인의 사회적 지지망 확대 및 체계적인 관리가 필요하다. 여섯째, 노인 자살을 감소시키기 위해서는 우울감을 감소시키는 접근이 필요하다.

영문 초록

This study examines the current situation and current situation of the elderly suicide and solves the elderly suicide problem under the consciousness that there is no systematic and professional intervention for the elderly suicide problem.The purpose is to come up with practical measures. The contents of this study were reviewed based on the existing statistics and thesis data on the current situation of the elderly suicide problem.Based on the paper. As a result, Korea showed the highest suicide rate among OECD countries, followed by Slovenia and Hungary.Looking at the status of the elderly suicide, the highest score in the age of 60s, 70s, 80s.The monthly suicide status of the elderly showed that the most common occurrence occurred in September and October in all of their 60s, 70s and 80s.Looking at the current status of suicide motives, the highest percentage of suicide deaths caused by physical disease helpers was followed by mental illness problems. Based on these results, suggesting ways to solve the elderly suicide problem, First, a realistic economic support measures are needed to reduce and prevent the elderly suicide.Second, the elderly suicide is increasing rapidly, but the elderly suicide prevention center is still insufficient.Third, assessment tools for suicide risk groups need to be developed at the national level.Fourth, a strategy to strengthen community-oriented elderly suicide prevention network is needed.Fifth, it is necessary to expand the social support network and systematically manage the elderly suicide.Sixth, in order to reduce elderly suicide, an approach to reducing depression is needed.
