국문 초록

본 연구는 집단미술치료 프로그램이 다문화가족 아동의 인성에 미치는 효과를 검정하여 다문화가족 아동의 인성을 향상시키고자 하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구의 대상은 경기도 A시의 다문화 학생이 밀집해 있는 B초등학교에 재학 중인 다문화가족 아동 50명 중 인성 검사를 실시한 후 하위 30%이하인 아동 18명을 최종 선정하였다. 최종 선정된 18명을 실험 집단 9명과 통제집단 9명으로 무선 배치하였다. 집단미술치료 프로그램의 효과성을 검정하기 위하여 실험집단과 통제집단의 아동인성검사(Personality Assessment System–Children)를 사전·사후로 검사해 비교 분석하였다. 사전, 사후검사 결과는 평균 및 표준편차를 산출하고 독립 t 검정을 실시하였다. 이에 따른 연구결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 집단미술치료 프로그 램은 다문화가족 아동의 인성에 긍정적인 효과를 주었다. 즉, 집단미술치료 프로그램이 다 문화가족 아동의 인성에 효과적으로 작용하였다고 말할 수 있다. 둘째, 집단미술치료 프로 그램은 다문화가족 아동 인성의 하위요인인 사회성, 활동성, 안정성, 자신감에 효과적으로 작용하였다고 할 수 있다. 이상의 연구결과에서 집단미술치료 프로그램은 다문화가족 아동 의 인성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치고, 정서적인 안정감과 심리적 회복에 도움을 주어 인성 중 재프로그램에 효과적임이 입증되었다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research is to improve the personality of children from a multicultural family, by testing the effects of group art therapy programs on the personality of children from a multicultural family. The subjects of this study were selected from 18 children with a score of lower 30% after personality tests were conducted among 50 children from multicultural families attending B elementary school in A city, Gyeonggi Province. To test the effectiveness of the group art therapy program, the Personality Assessment System–Children of the experimental group and the control group were tested and compared. Additionally, the final 18 selected children were randomly assigned to nine experimental and nine control groups. It was determined that the results of the pre and post-test were calculated by the mean and standard deviation, and an independent t-test was conducted. The results of the study are as follows. First, the group art therapy programs showed a positive effect on the whole personality of children from multicultural family. Second, a review of the group art therapy programs showed significant differences in sociability, activity, stability, and self– confidence among the sub-factors of children from a multicultural family, but there was no significant difference in independence, harmony, and thoughtfulness. Furthermore, the results of this study show that group art therapy programs have a positive effect on the personality of children from multicultural family and emotional stability and psychological recovery.
