국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 교사의 민감성 및 거친 신체놀이와 유아의 정서조절 간의 상관관계를 분석하고 교사의 민감성이 유아의 정서조절에 미치는 영향에 있어 거친 신체놀이가 가지는 매개효과를 분석하고자 하였다. 연구대상은 경기지역 만 5세 유아 399명을 선정하여, 교사의 민감성, 거친 신체놀이 그리고 유아의 정서조절에 관한 조사를 실시하였다. 수집된 자료의 분석은 구조방정식 모형의 적용과 매개효과의 검증을 위한 붓스트래핑을 실시하였다. 자료 분석 결과 첫째, 교사의 민감성 및 거친 신체놀이와 유아의 정서조절은 변인의 하위요소에 따라 전체적 혹은 부분적으로 의미 있는 상관관계가 나타났다. 둘째, 교사의 민감성과 유아의 정서조절은 거친 신체놀이를 매개로 긍정적인 간접 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이러한 연구결과는 유아의 정서교육을 포함한 교육의 실제에서 놀이에 관한 많은 시사점을 제공할 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to investigate the correlation among teachers’ sensitivity, children’s emotional regulation, and rough-and-tumble play, and to analyze mediating effects of rough-and-tumble play on the relationship between teachers’ sensitivity and emotional control of young children. A total of 399 children of age 5 and 21 teachers from 9 preschools located in Gyeonggi-do province were participated in this study and surveyed teachers’ sensitivity, rough-and-tumble play, and children’s emotional regulation. The collected data were analyzed by bootstrapping tests to apply the structural equation model and verify the mediating effects. The results of the study were as follows. First, teachers’ sensitivity, rough-and-tumble play, and children’s emotional regulation showed significant correlations, in whole or in part, in accordance with the sub-factors of variables. Second, teachers’ sensitivity had a positive indirect effect on children’s emotional regulation through rough-and-tumble play as mediator. These findings would provide many practical implications for play, including emotional education for young children.
