국문 초록

본 연구는 한국직업능력개발원에서 진행하는 진로교육 현황조사를 활용하여 초중고 부모와 자녀의 희망진로 미스매치와 진로성숙도의 관계를 탐색하는데 그 목적이 있다. 본 연구는 3개년 간의 설문 내용 중 학생과 학부모의 희망진로를 묻는 문항을 통해 학부모와 학생의 희망진로 미스매치가 발생한 경우를 파악하고, 미스매치가 발생한 집단과 그렇지 않은 집단 간에 진로성숙도 차이가 있는지를 확인하였다. 또한 2017년 설문 문항의 특성을 활용하여 실제로 미스매치가 일어났으나 학생들은 일어나지 않았다고 인식하는 경우의 평균차이를 분석하였다. 분석 결과 미스매치가 일어나지 않았다고 응답한 학생들의 진로성숙도가 통계적으로 유의하게 높은 것으로 나타났으며, ‘부모와 희망진로가 일치하지 않는다.’고 응답한 학생의 평균이 ‘부모의 희망진로가 어떤 것인지 모른다.’고 응답한 학생에 비해 높게 나타났다. 2017년 설문문항을 통해 분석한 결과 실제로 미스매치가 일어났어도 학생들이 미스매치가 일어나지 않았다고 믿는다면 학생들의 진로성숙도에는 통계적으로 유의한 차이는 없음을 확인하였다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to explore the relationships between mismatch and maturity of career hopes of elementary and middle school parents and their children by using the current status of career education conducted by Korea Vocational Competency Development Institute. This study examines the cases of mismatches between parents and students desired career paths through the questions where students are asked about their career hopes in the three-year questionnaire. In addition, by analyzing the specificity of the 2017 questionnaire, we analyzed the average difference when the students perceived that a mismatch occurred but in actuality, did not. As a result, the career maturity of the students who answered that no mismatch occurred was statistically high, and the average of students who answered that parents and career hopes did not match was what is the parent s career hope? /I don t know. As a result of analyzing the 2017 questionnaire, if the students believe that no mismatch occurred, there is also no statistically significant difference in students career maturity. This enabled them to see that their children had a higher career maturity when they felt that they acknowledged their careers, regardless of whether they actually admitted their careers, and used a policy that would strengthen the parent-child relationship. I suggest that they should improve their career maturity.
