국문 초록

본 연구는 여성청각장애인이 개인적으로 청각장애를 수용하여 삶의 만족도를 제고하고, 사회적으로는 여성청각장애인에 대한 인식변화와 배려를 위한 기초자료를 제공하려는데 그 목적이 있다. 연구결과를 토대로 여성청각장애인의 삶의 만족도를 향상하기 위한 시사점은 다음과 같다. 첫째, 여성청각장애인들의 청각장애수용 등 인식개선을 위해서는 긍정적 정서와 경제적 문제 해결을 위한 방안 마련이 시급하다. 둘째, 특별한 특성을 지닌 여성청각장애인에 대한 관심과 배려 및 인식개선이 중요하고, 이는 여성청각장애인과 비장애인 한쪽만의 인식 개선이 아닌 서로 간에 긍정적인 경험을 줄 수 있는 방안이 마련되어야 한다. 셋째, 여성청각장애인들의 사회성 제고를 위한 분위기 마련과 고용환경개선, 직업훈련 등 취업 기회 확대 등의 사회적 지원이 강화되어야 한다. 이러한 연구결과는 여성청각장애인이 개인적으로 청각장애를 수용하여 삶의 만족도를 제고하고, 사회적으로 여성청각장애인에 대한 인식변화와 배려를 위한 기초자료를 제공해 주고 있다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to improve the Life Satisfaction of Hearing Impaired Women by accepting their hearing disability and to provide basic data to improve social awareness and consideration of Hearing I mpaired Women. The proposals for improving the Life Satisfaction of Hearing Impaired Women are as follows. First, there is an immediate need for solutions on economic difficulties and positive mindset in order to improve awareness such as acceptance of hearing disability by Hearing Impaired Women. Second, it is important to give attention, consideration and improved awareness of Hearing Impaired Women with special characteristics. Also, this should not be a unilateral awareness improvement of the Hearing Impaired Women or the Non- Disabled but a mutual solution should be considered to positively impact both parties. Third, social support such as creating an atmosphere to improve the sociality of the Hearing Impaired Women and expanding employment opportunities should be strengthened. The results of this study provide basic data for the Hearing Impaired Women to accept their hearing disability and improve their life satisfaction but also improve social awareness and consideration on the Hearing Impaired Women.
