미술치료사의 동영상을 활용한 자기 슈퍼비전 경험에 대한 내러티브 탐구

국문 초록

본 연구는 미술치료사가 미술치료 과정을 동영상으로 촬영하고 촬영된 자료를 반복 시청하면서 어떻게 자기 슈퍼비전이 야기 되는지를 탐구한 것이다. 이를 통하여 자기 슈퍼비전 과정의 경험과 내담자와의 관계에서 어떤 치료적 의미를 구성하는지 심층적으로 이해하는데 연구의 목적이 있다. 탐구방법은 내러티브 탐구방법을 사용하였으며, 1명의 아동 내담자와 치료사 자신의 변화 과정을 관찰하고 탐구하였다. 탐구는 2018년 9월에서 10월 사이에 1주일에 한 번씩 6회를 스마트 폰으로 촬영을 하여 동영상을 보며 자기 슈퍼비전 하여 경험의 의미를 구성하였다. 본 연구의 함의는 다음과 같다. 미술치료사는 자기 슈퍼비전을 함에 있어 저항, 실망, 자책, 소진 등의 다룰 수 있는 균형 있는 방법들을 생각해야 하고, 전통적 슈퍼비전에서도 자기 슈퍼비전의 선행이 중요하며 또한 미술치료사는 자신만의 자기점검과 성장으로서의 슈퍼비전의 도구가 필요하다. 본 연구는 미술치료에서 ‘동영상을 통한 자기 슈퍼비전’이라는 새로운 시도와 방식을 제안했다는 점에서 그 의의가 있다.

영문 초록

This study explored how an art therapist can create “self-supervision through video“ of an art therapy session. The purpose of this study was to deeply understand what constitutes therapeutic meaning in the relationship between the experience of self - supervision and the client. The qualitative research method of narrative inquiry was applied to investigate the changing process of the therapist’s and a child client’s experiences in therapy sessions. A survey was taken on a smartphone six times a week between September and October 2018. The researcher looked at the videos and set up the meaning of experience by self - supervision. The implications of this study are as follows. Art therapists should consider balanced ways to deal with resistance, disappointment, feelings of self-defeat, exhaustion so on in their own supervision. This suggests the need for a self-examination and supervision tool that therapists can use to grow professionally. This study is meaningful in that it proposed a new approach and method called supervision through video in art therapy.
