인간관계와 학습된 무기력의 관계에서 긍정정서의 효과 -특성화고등학교 학생을 대상으로-

국문 초록

본 연구는 특성화고등학교 학생이 지각하는 인간관계와 학습된 무기력과의 관계에서 긍정정서의 효과를 분석하는데 목적을 두었다. G지역의 특성화 고등학교 학생 397명을 대상으로 하여 학습된 무기력, 긍정정서와 부모관계, 교사관계, 친구관계를 포함한 인간관계 척도를 사용하여 분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 특성화고등학교 학생의 인간관계와 학습된 무기력, 긍정정서의 상관관계 분석에서 인간관계와 학습된 무기력은 유의한 부적 상관관계를 보였고, 긍정정서와 학습된 무기력 간에도 유의한 부적 상관관계를 나타냈다. 반면 인간관계와 긍정정서는 유의한 정적 상관관계를 보였다. 둘째, 특성화고등학교 학생의 인간관계의 하위요인 중 부모관계와 학습된 무기력의 관계에서 긍정정서의 조절효과가 나타났다. 부모관계와 긍정정서가 높은 집단이 낮은 집단에 비해 학습된 무기력이 유의하게 낮게 나타났다. 셋째, 긍정정서는 특성화고등학교 학생의 부모관계, 교사관계, 친구관계와 학습된 무기력의 관계에서 부분매개효과를 나타내었다. 이러한 연구 결과는 특성화고등학교 학생의 학습된 무기력을 감소시키기 위해서는 부모나 교사, 친구와의 친밀하고 만족스러운 인간관계를 형성하고, 긍정정서의 경험을 높이는 실천개입이 효과적임을 제시한다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to explore the effect of positive affect on interpersonal relationship and learned helplessness of the specialized vocational high school students. A total of 397 students of the specialized vocational high schools located in G area were participated in the study. The instruments used were the learned helplessness measurement, the Korean Positive Affect and Negative Affect Schedule (K-PANAS), and interpersonal relationship measurement including parent relationship, teacher relationship and friend relationship. The major findings were: First, the results of correlational analysis showed significantly negative relationships between interpersonal relationship and learned helplessness and also between positive affect and learned helplessness. Whereas interpersonal relationship and positive affect had a significant positive relationship. Second, positive affect had a moderating effect between parent relationship of the sub-factor of interpersonal relationship and learned helplessness. The higher group of parent relationship and positive affect than the lower group showed significantly reduced learned helplessness of students. Third, positive affect also had partial mediating effects between interpersonal relationship including parent, teacher and friend relationship and learned helplessness. The results of this study suggested an important implication for practice. The study showed that intervention for increasing positive affect and interpersonal relationship with parent, teacher and friend would be an effective way to reduce learned helplessness of specialized vocational high school students.
