2015 개정 기술·가정 교과의 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 대한 중학생들의 인식

국문 초록

이 연구의 목적은 2015 개정 기술․가정 교과의 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 대한 학생들의 인식을 분석하는데 있었다. 연구 목적을 달성하기 위하여 조사 연구를 실시하였다. 모집단은 전국 중학교 1학년 학생들이며, 조사 대상으로 438명의 1학년 학생을 선정하였다. 조사 도구는 선행연구와 이론적 배경에 기초하여 개발하였으며, 6개 영역에 걸쳐 총 27개 문항으로 구성하였다. 이 연구의 결과는 다음과 같았다. 첫째, 학생들의 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 대한 선호도는 높았으며, 남학생이 여학생보다 더 선호하였고, 학업성적이 높을수록 더 선호하였다. 선호하는 학생들의 가장 큰 이유는 직접 만들 수 있는 실습을 좋아하기 때문이었다. 둘째, 학생들은 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야를 매우 중요하게 인식하고 있었으며, 학업성적이 ‘상’인 학생이 ‘하’인 학생보다 더 중요하게 인식하고 있었다. 셋째, 학생들은 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 흥미를 가지고 있었으며, 남학생이 여학생보다, 학업성적이 ‘상’인 학생이 ‘중’이거나 ‘하’인 학생보다 ‘기술의 세계’분야에 대하여 더 흥미를 가지고 있었다. 넷째, 학생들의 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 대한 난이도는 낮았으며, 여학생이 남학생보다 더 어려워하고 있었고, 학업성적이 낮을수록 더 어려워하고 있었다. 다섯째, 학생들의 ‘기술의 세계’ 분야에 대한 학습 후 기술, 발명, 표준, 안전 등에 관한 관심도는 보통이었으며, 남학생이 여학생보다 이 분야에 대한 학습 후 관심이 더 생겼고, 학업성적이 ‘상’인 학생이 ‘하’인 학생보다 학습 후 관심이 더 생겼다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to analyze investigate the recognition of middle school students about ‘world of technology’ part in the 2015 revised ‘technology․ home economics’ subject. This study was carried out through questionnaire survey method. The population for the survey was the first grade middle school students. A survey questionnaire was developed by the researcher to collect the information needed for the study. It consisted of 27 items of 6 domains. Major findings of this study were as follows: First, students‘ preference level for ‘world of technology’ part was high. Male students had higher preference level than female students. And the higher students’ school grade, the higher the preference level. Second, their importance level for ‘world of technology’ part was very high. Students with high school grades had higher importance level for that than students with low school grades. Third, they were interested in ‘world of technology’ part. Male students were more interested in ‘world of technology’ part than female students. And students with high school grades had higher interest level for the part than students with mediocre or low school grades. Fourth, their difficulty level for ‘world of technology’ part was low. Female students had higher difficulty level than male students. And the lower students’ school grade, the higher the difficulty level. Fifth, their concern level for ‘technology’, ‘invention’, ‘standard’, and ‘safety’ after learning this part was moderate. Male students had higher concern level than female students. And students with high school grades had higher concern level for the part than students with low school grades.
