학술지 논문에 기초한 발명교육 연구 동향 분석

국문 초록

이 연구는 발명교육 연구의 활성화와 보다 체계적인 발명교육관련 연구가 수행될 수 있는 기초자료를 제공하기 위하여 발명교육 관련 2000년 이후 학술지 연구 논문을 년도별, 유형별, 주제별, 연구 방법별, 연구자 특성별로 분석하여 연구의 특징과 경향을 고찰한다. 연구 내용에 따른 연구의 결과 및 결론은 다음과 같다. 발명교육과 관련된 연구논문들은 2007 개정 교육과정의 중학교 기술?가정 교과에 발명교육이 포함되어 확산됨과 함께 점차 증가하고 있는 추세이다. 이는 발명교육을 확산시키고자하는 노력과 교육과정의 중요성을 깨달을 수 있게 하는 지표가 될 수 있다. 또한 초등학교 실과 교과와 연계하여 발명교육이 많이 이루어지고 있기 때문에 한국실과교육학회지, 실과교육연구에서 보다 많은 논문이 발표되고 있었다. 연구 논문의 주제로는 발명교육전반에 걸친 발명교육연구를 주제로 한 논문과 발명교재개발, 발명교사교육과 관련된 연구들이 많이 이루어진 것을 확인할 수 있었다. 발명교육이 확산되고 초?중?고등학교에서 교육과정에 적용됨과 함께 발명교육의 기초를 확고히 할 수 있는 발명교육기초연구, 발명교육방법연구, 발명 시설 및 환경 연구, 발명활동지도 연구가 많이 수행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 또 한 발명교육이 발명체험교육을 넘어 지식재산으로 그 가치를 높이고 수익을 창출할 수 있는 발명직업교육 차원의 연구도 확산될 필요가 있다. 연구방법에서는 현재까지는 양적연구 위주의 논문들이 발표되었으나 질적연구의 확산에 따라 근거이론, 문화기술지, 현상학적 연구 등 발명교육의 질을 자세히 분석하고 결론을 얻을 수 있는 연구들이 수행되어야 할 것으로 생각된다. 발명관련 연구자들은 대부분 교수와 교사 또는 연구직, 대학원생이 공동으로 연구를 수행하였다. 이는 현재까지 발표된 논문들이 현장에서의 발명교육에 대한 조사연구가 가장 높은 비율을 차지하고 있는 것과 일맥상통한다고 할 수 있겠다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this research was to vitalize invention-education research and to provide base line data for a methodical approach of invention-education. To achieve this purpose, this study analyzed research of invention-education from the year 2000 considering their features and trends by years, patterns, themes, methods and researchers. The results were as follows. As middle school revised-curriculum textbooks of technology and home economy of the year 2007 contains invention-education, its studies has been increased. It could be an indicator which made us conscious that there are a lot of efforts to spread invention-education and the importance of it in the school curriculum. Also, practical course education has issued more research since invention-education is performed related to elementary school curriculum. It was confirmed that general invention-education research, development for textbooks and education for invention-education indicators were a lot. It was believed that fundamental research and a study of methods, facilities and environment and guidance of invention-education research should be performed with spreading invention-education and applying it with school curriculum. Also, studies of an invention-education creating profits with intellectual properties as invention-knowledge education are needed. As a methodology, the quantitative research has been written up to now, but due to diffusion of the qualitative research, theoretical basis, ethnography and phenomenological study should be performed from now to analyze quality of invention-education deeply and get the results. Researchers of invention were mostly professors, teachers, and graduate students and they collaborate for studies. It has led to the largest amount of written work in invention-education of field study.
