공감중심 집단미술치료 프로그램이 대학생의 의사소통 및 인간관계에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 공감중심의 집단미술치료 프로그램을 대학생에게 적용하고, 의사소통 및 인간관계 능력에 미치는 영향을 검증하는 것이다. 연구목적을 달성하기 위하여 경기지역 대학생 26명을 무작위로 실험집단 11명과 통제집단 15명으로 구성하였다. 실험집단을 대상으로 공감중심 집단미술치료를 주1회 2시간씩 10회기 실시하였다. 측정도구는 의사소통 능력 척도(PCI, Primary Communication Inventory)와 인간관계 척도(RCS, Relationship Change Scale)이며 사전, 사후 점수에 대해 공분산분석(ANCOVA)을 실시하였다. 주요 연구 결과를 정리하면 다음과 같다. 첫째, 공감중심 집단미술치료 프로그램은 대학생의 의사소통능력 전체와 그 하위요인인 언어적 의사소통능력에 유의미한 효과가 있었으나, 비언어적 의사소통에는 유의미한 효과가 나타나지 않았다. 둘째, 공감중심 집단미술치료 프로그램은 대학생의 인간관계 전체와 그 하위요인의 표현력, 개방성에 있어 유의미한 효과가 있었지만, 만족감, 신뢰감, 친근감, 민감성, 이해성에서는 유의미한 효과가 나타나지 않았다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study was to apply empathy - centered group art therapy programs for college students and verify their effects on communication skills and interpersonal relationships. For the research 26 college students in Gyeonggi Province were randomly divided into 11 experimental groups and 15 control groups. The experimental group underwent 10 consecutive group art therapy sessions per week for 2 hours each. The measurement tools included Primary Communication Inventory (PCI), Relationship Change Scale (RCS), and covariance analysis (ANCOVA) on the pre and post scores. Results demonstrated that empathic group art therapy program had a considerable effect on college students’ verbal communication skills but did not show any major effect on the non-verbal communication skills of sub-factors. Furthermore, the empathic group art therapy program had a significant effect on the total value of interpersonal relationships, including the sub-factors of expressiveness and openness but it did not indicate any consequential effect on satisfaction, trust, affection, sensitivity and understanding.
