재현의 교육학적 의미에 관한 연구

국문 초록

재현은 세상을 바라보는 특정한 방식이며 선택적 재구성 방식이다. Molenhauer은 ‘삶의 양식의 재현이 가장 중요한 도야의 문제’라고 언급하면서 중요한 교육학적 원리로서 ‘재현’을 강조하였다. 본 연구는 재현(representation)에 대한 논의들을 통해 재현이 갖는 교육적 가치에 새롭게 주목하고 교육학적 행위로서의 의미를 검토하고자 한다. 교육학적 행위의 핵심은 중요한 것을전달하고 공유하는 것이며, 이러한 공유·보존·전승은 ‘재현’을 통해 이루어지기 때문이다. 문화적 기억을 전달하는 행위로서 재현에 대한 다양한 차원의 논의들 중에서 예술적 재현·역사적 재현은 어떻게 작동하고 있으며 교육학적 재현과는 어떻게 의미의 차이가 있는지를 검토하였다. 교육학적 관점에서 바라보는 재현은 주체-세계의 관계를 중심으로 모든 인식적 과정에 작용하는 근본적인 교육학적 행위이며 다음의 세 가지 문제를 고려해야 한다: 첫째, 무엇이 중요한것인가에 대한 가치판단과 선택의 문제, 둘째, 재현대상을 어떻게 재현할 것인가에 대한 방법의문제, 셋째, 재현된 것을 어떻게 전승할 것인가에 대한 동기부여의 문제이다. 교육적 원리로써 재현의 교육적 가치에 새롭게 주목하고 교육과 문화의 관계 속에서 예술적·역사적·교육적인 재현의 의미와 연관성을 검토해보는 것은 새로운 교육학적 시각을 제시할 수 있을 것이다.

영문 초록

Representation is a specific way of loking at the world and an optional reconstruction. Molenhauer emphasized representation as an important pedagogical concept, noting that ‘representation the way of life is the most important isue.’ Through the discusion of representation, this study sought to pay new atention to the educational value of representation and to examine its meaning as an educational act. The core of pedagogical behavior is to communicate and share what is important, because this sharing, preservation and transfer is done through representation. Among the various levels of discusion on representation as an act of conveying cultural memories, artistic representation, historical representation and educational representation were each intended to examine how it works and what its educational meaning was. As a result, representation is the fundamental pedagogical act that act on al cognitve proceses. The folowing thre problems must be considered : First, the question of value judgment and choice about what is important; second, how to representation what is important; and third, how to transfer what is representation. Also, artistic, historical, and educational representation have important intersections in the interconection, so reviewing its meaning and asociation could give a new perspective on the principles of pedagogy.
