문화예술교육 교육표준 개발에 대한 소고

국문 초록

이 연구는 현재 한국문화예술교육진흥원을 통하여 개발되고 있는 문화예술교육 교육표준에 관한 논의이다. 문화예술교육 교육표준은 각 예술분야별 문화예술교육 활동을 통하여 학습자가 성취해야할 구체적 목표의 체계로서, 문화예술교육의 이름으로 이루어지는 문화예술 경험의 전체적 윤곽을 파악하고 다양한 문화예술교육 프로그램의 평가 및 교보재 개발의 체계적인 기준을 마련하기 위한 것이다. 본 연구에서는 학교 문화예술교육의 성공적인 정착과 확산을 위해서, 또한 양적으로 확대된 문화예술교육의 질적 제고를 위해서 이러한 문화예술교육 교육 표준의 현실적 필요성을 인정하면서 한편으로 문화예술교육의 본질적 측면에서 고려할 수 있는 여러 가지 문제들과의 충돌을 문화예술교육 표준개발의 딜레마로 규정하였다. 이를 해결하기 위하여 문화예술교육의 본질적 측면, 즉 지역성, 개별성, 통합성 등의 측면에서 문화예술교육의 교육표준 개발을 검토하고 이를 보완할 수 있는 방법으로 학교와의 파트너십 구축의 선행, 학습자 중심의 교육표준 개발, 문화예술교육의 모델 개발을 통한 표준화, 예술 강사 교육의 변화와 교육표준의 활용을 제언하였다.

영문 초록

This paper is a discussion about an education standard of currently developing culture and arts education. The education standard is a system of specific goals that should be achieved through various activities of culture and arts education in each area of arts. The purpose of the education standard is to establish a systematic standard in evaluating a variety of programs as well as developing main texts and supporting materials of culture and arts education. This study shows realistic needs of the education standard in order to establish, spread, and improve the expanding culture and arts education. Also, this study defines a conflict with predictable problems from a fundamental perspective of culture and arts education as a dilemma of developing the education standard. Therefore, this study suggests a methodology to review the education standard and complement it from the fundamental perspectives of culture and arts education, such as individuality, regionality, and integration.
