국문 초록

본 연구는 문화시설을 기반으로 통합문화예술교육 프로그램을 개발한 인천광역시 동구의‘우리미술관’사례를 분석한 것이다. 우리미술관에서는 2016년부터 지역설화인‘괭이부리 호랑이’를 주제로 미술, 음악, 연극 세 장르를 아우르는 통합문화예술교육 프로그램을 기획하여 시행하고 있다. 프로그램의 문화예술교육 목표는 미술과의 인지적 측면, 음악과의 심동적 측면, 연극과의 정의적 측면에 강조점을 두었다. 2016년도 프로그램은 12차시 수업에 15명의 어린이가 참여했고, 2017년도 16차시 수업에는 26명의 어린이가 참여하였다. 현재 2018년 상반기 프로그램이 진행 중이며, 30명의 어린이가 참여하고 있다. 지역의 수요에 의해 프로그램 운영은 앞으로 더 확대될 예정이다. 인천 동구 지역의 우리미술관은 미술관으로서 역할이외에도 지역민의 문화예술 프로그램 운영에 대한 요구를 수용하여 지역문화시설로 기능하고 있다. 본 사례가 의미를 갖는 이유는 지역의 문화시설이 지역의 문화자원을 활용하여 독자적인 프로그램을 개발하고 지속적으로 시행하고 있다는 점 때문이다. 이러한 시도는 지역에서 문화예술교육 생태계를 자발적으로 조성해 가는 데 도움을 주고, 향후 지역문화예술교육의 발전 방향에도 시사점을 준다.

영문 초록

This research studied the case of Woori Museum of Art in Dong-gu, Incheon that developed an integrated arts and cultural education program based on cultural facilities. Woori Museum of Art developed and has implemented an integrated arts and cultural education program that unified three genres of fine arts, music, and play about the tale “Gaengiboori Tiger” since 2016. The program has focused on the cognitive domain of fine arts, the psychomotor domain of music, and the affective domain of play. Fifteen children took part in 12 sessions of the program in 2016, and 26 children participated in 16 sessions of the program in 2017. Thirty children are involved in the program in the first half of 2018, and the museum plans to expand the program according to community demand. Woori Museum of Art in Dong-gu, Incheon has functioned not only as a gallery but also local cultural facility considering the need to join in the art and cultural programs for local residents. This case shows that the cultural facility makes use of local cultural resources, and develops and constantly implements the program. This trial facilitates the spontaneous creation of the arts and cultural education ecosystem, and suggests the developmental direction of community based arts and cultural education.
