수도계에 관한 오해의 유형과 사례

국문 초록

장상호의 교육본위론에서 수도계는 교육과 공생하는 세계로 그려진다. 장상호는 수도계의 각 단계 사이에서 교육이 진행되는 데 주목하고 수도계와 구별된 교육의 실체를 추적하고 구성하는 중요한 발판으로 삼았다. 이러한 수도계의 실재는 교육과 마찬가지로 이론적인 맥락에서 구성된 것이기 때문에 그 논의맥락에 불충실하거나 그것을 현실세계에서 찾으려는 시도는 상당 부분 혼란을 수반할 수 있다. 이 연구는 수도계에 대한 일부의 오해를 범주혼동, 본위의 고착화, 양상과 양태의 혼동, 학문적 환원 등 네 가지 유형으로 분류하고 각각에 해당하는 사례들을 예시하였다. 이를 통해 수도계와 공존하는 교육의 의미를 보다 명료하게 파악하는 계기가 마련될 것으로 기대한다.

영문 초록

In Sangho Chang’s endogenous theory of education, transcendental worlds are portrayed as the worlds of symbiotic relationship with education. Sangho Chang focused on the progress of education between the phases of transcendental worlds and used them as stepping stones for tracking and organizing the reality of education distinguished from transcendental worlds. The existence of these transcendental worlds is as constructed in a theoretical context as in education. Because of this, the insufficient discussion of the theoretical context and the research that seeks to find it in the real world can entail considerable misunderstandings. In this research, I classified the types of misinterpretations found in some studies of the transcendental worlds into four categories: categorical error, fixation of standards, confusion between theoretical and practical patterns, and academic reduction, and examples corresponding to each were illustrated. By doing so, I tried to prepare an opportunity for a clearer understanding of the meaning of education, which is closely related to transcendental worlds.
