상담자의 부정경험과 발달수준과의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과 연구

국문 초록

본 연구는 상담자의 부정경험, 자기자비, 발달수준과의 관계와 상담자의 부정경험과 발달수준과의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과를 검증하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 전국에서 상담을 진행하고 있는 193명의 상담자를 표집으로 조사하였다. 측정 도구로는 상담자의 부정경험, 자기자비, 발달수준 척도를 자기보고식 질문지로 측정하였다. 상담자의 부정경험과 발달수준과의 관계에서 자기자비의 매개효과는 Baron과 Kenny(1986)의 3단계 분석에 의해 검증하였고, 유의도는 Sobel (1982) Z 검증을 하였다. 연구 결과는 다음과 같다. 첫째, 상담자의 부정경험과 자기자비, 발달수준과의 관계는 부적 상관으로 나타났다. 그리고 상담자의 자기자비와 발달수준은 정적 상관으로 나타났다. 둘째, 상담자의 부정경험과 발달수준과의 관계에서 자기자비는 부분 매개효과가 검증되었다. 마지막으로 상담 현장에서 상담자의 자기자비가 발달수준에 미치는 영향에 대한 중요성을 제시하면서 본 연구의 시사점, 제한점, 추후 연구를 위한 제언을 논하였다.

영문 초록

This study sought to verify the mediating effects of self-compassion between the counselor s development level, and the counselor s negative experiences and the counselor s level of development. For this purpose, we surveyed 193 counselors who are conducting counseling in the whole country. Research tools were used to measure a counselor s negative experiences, self-compassion, and the counselor s level of development with self-reporting questionnaires. The mediating effect of self-compassion on the relationship between negative experiences and Development Level of the counselor s was verified by the three-step analysis of Baron and Kenny(1986), and the significance was tested by Sobel(1982). The results of the study are as follows. First, the relationship between counselor s negative experiences and self-compassion and counselor s Development Level showed a significant negative correlation. And self-compassion and counselor s Development Level of counselors showed positive significant correlation. Second, in relation to the counselor s negative experiences and the counselor s level of development, self-compassion has been proven to have partial mediation effects. Finally, we discussed the implications, limitations and suggestions for further research of this study, while presenting the importance of the impact of counselors self-compassion on the level of counselor s development at the consultation site.
