아동기 반추에 대한 탐색: 부부갈등, 양육방식, 사회불안을 중심으로

국문 초록

본 연구의 목적은 아동 후기 반추적 사고에 대한 예언 변인들을 알아보고 예언 변인들 간 연계성을 알아보는 것이다. 연구대상자는 초등학교 4학년 아동 267명이다. 부모갈등 지각, 양육지각, 사회불안 그리고 반추가 설문지를 통해 아동 보고로 측정되었다. 상관분석 결과, 부모갈등 지각은 거부․제재 양육지각, 사회불안 그리고 반추와 높은 정적인 상관을 보였다. 거부․제재 양육지각은 사회불안 및 반추와 높게 정적으로 상관되었으며, 사회불안은 반추와 높게 상관되었다. 각 변인들이 반추에 주는 직․간접적 연계성을 알아보기 위해 구조방정식모형으로 검증하였다. 결과에 의하면 갈등지각은 거부․제재 양육지각과 사회불안에 유의하게 정적인 영향을 주었으나 반추에는 직접적으로 영향을 주지 않았다. 거부․제재 양육지각과 사회불안은 반추에 유의미한 정적 영향을 주었다 따라서 갈등지각은 거부․제재적 양육지각과 사회불안에 영향을 줌으로써 간접적으로 반추 발달에 관련되는 것으로 나타났다. 현 연구 결과를 통해 부정적인 양육지각과 사회불안이 반추 발달에 직접적으로 관여되는 변인으로 제안해 볼 수 있으며, 부모 갈등지각은 거부․제재적 양육과 사회불안을 통해 반추에 간접적으로 관여되는 것으로 나타났다.

영문 초록

The purpose of the study was to investigate the variables related to rumination in late childhood and to explore direct and the indirect relationships among these variables. The participants consisted of 267 children who are fourth year in elementary school. Each child completed questionnaires containing items on perceptions of parental conflicts, perceptions of parenting style, social anxiety and rumination. The results of a correlational analysis revealed that perceptions of parental conflicts were highly correlated with parenting style high in rejection and control as well as with social anxiety. In addition, perceptions of parental conflicts were closely related to rumination. A parenting style high in rejection and control was also related to social anxiety and rumination. Social anxiety was positively correlated with rumination. The results of the structural equation model devised for this study showed that children s perceptions of parental conflicts significantly influenced a parenting style high in rejection and control as well as social anxiety, whereas this variable did not influence rumination. Both a parenting style high in rejection and control and social anxiety had significant effects on rumination. The results here suggest that perceptions of parental conflicts influence rumination in children and that this relationship is mediated by both social anxiety and parenting style.
