국문 초록

본 연구는 우리나라 사회적 가치관, 관습 등의 문화적 규범, 번아웃 증후군에 이르는 고유과정 특징을 반영한 한국형 번아웃 증후군 자가진단척도를 개발하는데 목적이 있다. 이를 위해 개방형 설문을 활용한 문항개발, 예비설문, 본설문 등의 단계를 거쳤다. 문항개발 단계에서는 번아웃 증후군 증상을 보이는 연구참여자 16명을 대상으로 개방형 설문을 실시하였다. 이후 유목적적 표집장법을 활용하여 예비설문단계에서는 번아웃 증후군 증상을 보이는 직장인 192명의 자료를 수집⋅분석하였고, 본설문단계에서는 584명의 자료를 수집⋅분석하였다. 연구결과 첫째, 최초 문항은 5개 구성요인 총 39문항으로 개발되었다. 둘째, 예비설문단계에서 4개 구성요인 총 22문항으로 개발되었다. 셋째, 타당화 단계인 본설문에서는 감정적⋅정서적 고갈 요인 4문항, 신체적⋅생리적 고갈 요인 5문항, 조직갈등 요인 5문항, 비인격화 요인 4문항 등 4요인 18문항으로 최종 결정되었다. 본 연구결과는 우리나라 사회와 정책의 문제로 대두되고 있는 번아웃 증후군의 과학적인 측정을 통해 조기 발견⋅관리에 도움이 될 것이다.

영문 초록

The purpose of this study is to develop a self-diagnosis scale of Korean-type burnout syndrome that reflects Korean cultural norms such as social values and customs, and the unique process of reaching burnout syndrome. Stages such as development of questions, preliminary surveys and main surveys were completed through open-ended surveys. In the question development stage, open-ended surveys were conducted for 16 research participants displaying burnout syndrome symptoms. Afterwards, a purposive sampling method was used to collect and analyze data from 192 corporate workers exhibiting burnout syndrome symptoms in the preliminary survey stage, and data from 584 people were collected and analyzed in the main survey stage. For the study results, a total of 39 questions in five components were developed as the initial questions. Second, a total of 22 questions in four components were developed in the preliminary survey stage. Third, in the main survey, which is the feasibility stage, a total of 18 questions in four factors made up of four questions in the emotional/sentimental exhaustion factor, five questions in the physical/physiological exhaustion factor, five questions in the organizational conflict factor, and four questions in the dehumanizing factor was finally decided on. The results of this study is expected to help in the early discovery and management of burnout syndrome that has become an important social and policy issue of Korea through scientific measurements.
