국문 초록

본 연구는 그림책을 활용한 창의성 프로그램이 유아의 창의성과 놀이성에 어떠한 영향을 미치는 알아보기 위한 것이다. 연구대상은 C시에 소재한 어린이집의 만 5세 유아 26명(실험집단 13명, 비교집단 13명)이었다. 실험집단에게는 주 2회씩 5주에 걸쳐 총 10회 그림책을 활용한 창의성 프로그램을 실시하였으며, 비교집단은 실험집단과 동일한 그림책을 언어영역에 비치하였으나 그림책과 연관된 추후 활동은 실시하지 않았다. 연구결과 그림책을 활용한 창의성 프로그램은 유아의 창의성 전체와 신체적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현을 제외한 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 유머감각 및 놀이성 전체에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 이를 종합하면 그림책을 활용한 창의성 프로그램은 유아의 창의성과 놀이성에 효과가 있으며, 유아의 창의성 발달을 위해 활용한 가치가 있음을 의미한다.

영문 초록

This study aims at verifying positive effects of children’s creativity program using picture books on children’s creativity and playfulness of daycare center. The creativity program was designed to use various creativity techniques. The designed program was applied to 26 5-year-old children(experimental group of 13 and control group of 13) with 10 sessions for 6 weeks. In order to verify effects of the children’s creativity program using picture books on their creativity and playfulness, the pre-test and post-test were conducted and then test results were analyzed. Results of this study shows that designed creativity program using picture books has effects on improvements of children’s overall creativity. In relation to playfulness, significant improvement was shown in whole playfulness and sub-factors such as social spontaneity, cognitive spontaneity, sense of humor. This findings suggest that designed creativity program using picture books could help to improve children’s creativity and playfulness.
