가족미술치료가 사별가족의 애도와 정서안정에 미치는 영향

국문 초록

본 연구는 가족원의 사별 경험으로 인해 현재의 삶에서 우울과 불안이 높고 무기력하며 사회적 관계 맺음에큰 어려움을 보이는 두 가족을 선택하여 가족미술치료를 실시하였다. 가족전체의 애도를 중심으로 각 가족원의개인적 외상을 다뤄보고, 떠나보냄을 통해 정서적 안정에 미치는 영향을 검증하고자 하였다. 본 연구의 사례 1 가족은 G시 소재 S중학교 2학년 여학생의 가족이다. 엄마와 중2 딸 1명, 중1 딸 1명으로 구성되어 있는 한부모가족이다. 사례 2 가족은 G시 소재 S중학교 3학년 남학생 가족이다. 아버지는 시골 건설현장에서 일용노동자로일해 떨어져 살고 있으며, 고모의 대리양육으로 누나 2명과 동거 중인 가족이다. 가족미술치료가 이 두 가족의애도와 정서안정에 미치는 영향을 알아보고자 가족체계 그림검사(FSDT), 동적가족화(KFD), 인적성검사(PIA)를측정도구로 사용하였다. 자료 분석 방법으로는 사전⋅사후검사로 집단체계 그림검사(GSDT), 동적가족화(KFD) 를 비교하였다. 연구 주제인 애도의 변화양상과 인적성검사(PIA) 중 정서안정의 변화상을 통해 질적분석을 하였다. 가족사별에 대한 개인의 외상으로 접근하는 방식보다는 공동의 외상을 가진 가족에 대한 접근을 통해 가족 구성원간의 이해와 함께 긍정적인 힘을 지속시킴을 통해 가족 구성원들의 내면의 치유와 개인적 성장까지도울 수 있었다.

영문 초록

For this study, two families were selected who had high depression, anxiety, and helplessness and difficulties in forming social relationship in present life because of bereaved experience, and family art therapy was conducted with them. The purpose of the study was to address family members’ individual trauma with a focus on the mourning of the whole family and to test the effects on their emotional stability by letting their dead family members go from their lives. Case 1 was a single-parent family consisting of a mother and two daughters in the first and second grade of a middle school located in G City. Case 2 was the family of a male student in the third grade of the middle school located in G City. His father was a temporary construction worker and lived apart in a rural area. His aunt raised the male student and his two elder sisters. FSDT, KFD, PIA were used to examine the effects of family art therapy on mourning and emotional stability. FSDT, KFD were compared between pre-test and post-test to analyze data. Qualitative analysis was performed when there were changes of mourning and emotional stability changes of PIA. This study used an approach to families with common trauma rather than an approach to individual trauma on bereavement of a family member. The result could increase understanding between family members, sustain positive power, and help family members’ internal healing and individual growth.
