장자 철학으로 본 연극치료

국문 초록

장자는 춘추전국시대라는 혼란한 시대에서 타자와의 소통의 가능성을 고민하였다. “도는 걸어 다님으로써 이루어진다(道行之而成)”라는 장자의 말에서, 장자의 이러한 문제의식을 확인할 수 있다. 인간 존재에게 타자성과의 만남은 불가피한 일이며, 타자는 외재적인 존재이기에 주체는 결코 타자를 내면화할 수 없다. 이에 대해 장자는 타자와의 소통을 위해 양행(兩行)을 주장하는데, 이는 주체가 마음의 재계(心齎)를 통해, 내면화된 규칙 혹은 가치관에 대한 맹신, 즉 성심(成心)에의 고착으로부터 벗어나 비인칭적이고 유동적인 본래성(虛心)을 회복해야 함과 동시에, 타자의 타자성이라는 ‘사태에 따라(因是)’, 타자에 맞게 새로운 임시적 주체를 구성해 나가야 한다는 것이다. 본 연구는 타자와 소통에 관한 장자의 관점을 통해 연극치료의 동양철학적 기반을 모색하고 연극치료를 총체적으로 분석하고자 한다. ‘연극치료학 일반과 실제’, ‘연극치료사’, ‘연극치료의 참여자’라는 세 가지 테마를 각 장의 축으로 하여 논리를 전개한다. 이를 구체적으로 살펴봄으로써, 연극치료사에게 있어 당연한 것으로 여겨지기 쉬운 타자와 소통에 대해 고찰해보고자 한다.

영문 초록

In the chaotic era of the warring states period, Chuang-tzu considered the possibility of communication with others. As can be seen from Chuang-tzu s statement that The way is done by walking, the core problem in Chuang-tzu s philosophy can be summarized as meeting and communicating with otherness . The encounter of human existence with others is inevitable, and the other is an external existence, so the subject can never internalize the other. However, since the individual subject has meaning only in relation to the other, the relationship with the other is essential. That is why Chuang-tzu claims ‘two ways’ to communicate with the other. According to Chuang-tzu, the subject must restore his impersonal and fluid nature through the purification of the mind, by turning away from the blind faith in the rules or values that are internalized, that is, fixing of ‘Seongsim(composed mind).’ at the same time, The subject is to form a new temporal subject to suit the other according to the situation of otherness of the other(Insi). In other words, communication with others should be two-way, on the level of self-discipline and on the level of specific life. This study aims to find the philosophical foundation of drama therapy and analyze drama therapy collectively through Chuang-tzu’s view of others and communication. The relationship-centered nature of drama therapy is often associated with Chuang-tzu philosophy. The three themes, General and Real of Drama therapeutics and Drama therapist and participator of dramatic therapy , unfold the logic on each chapter. communication with the other is likely to be taken for granted in drama therapy and drama therapist. To think anew about the concept of others and communication, and to discover otherness, it will lead us to think anew about the many others and otherness that we encounter in drama therapy.
